Valve said they're aiming for entry-level prebuilts not consoles, and those start at the $700-$800 range.
Stick around till we find out.
I was always wondering how people can call games like this boring or its world empty/flat then I watched how they play games. They skip cutscenes and dialogue, run straight from point to point to get the main missions done 'efficiently,' mash one button for the combat, approach side missions in the exact same way doing the exact same thing, think lore = yapping, and 'no one's gonna stop during gameplay to look at some pixels, dude.' Zero appreciation for the environments. ...
The first game alone sold 24M including PS4 and PC sales. 2.4M was the last reported PC sales. Don't know how 'most' is defined in your dictionary but it ain't 10%. The second one probably didn't even break 500K copies on Steam. PC gamers aren't interested in this kind of games.
Hopefully they'll make another IP before revisiting Horizon again.
"Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is?"
They're fun if you're in the mood for a quick game ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
.
An amazing game that didn't sell.
Store goes down for one reason or another, and you can kiss your games goodbye. The bright future of digital 'ownership.'
That makes no sense. I thought you were joking, but I just checked and indeed prices increased 115%-160%. MS is clowning.
I'd recommend watching a walkthrough or a recap before jumping into AW2. The gameplay is outdated by today's standards so you won't miss much.
From your own words and the games you currently play, this price increase is literally subtracting value for you. You're not gaining anything. You're paying more for the same games. Talk about added value when you actually get more stuff to play you couldn't beforehand, otherwise this is massive copium, mate.
Ridiculous. Can't we ever get a movie-like critique and reasonable scores for games? Leave that hyperbole to gamers.
Optimisation.
Lost cause, mate. If buyers were gonna do anything positive about gaming problems we wouldn't be having broken releases or macrotransactions.
Console wars ended and the victory belongs to PCMR.
By that logic, if you got $800 to spend on a Series X, you better put that into a PC build. Cheaper games, cheaper Game Pass, huge library at your disposal, and free online. How about that?
That would lead to another civil war.
Because it's Shuhei Yoshida's baby. He wrote FromSoftware a blank check and is the main reason the game exists at all. Sony executives don't a single f*ck because it doesn't represent their 'image.' He's also the reason Demon's Souls Remake is a thing because he wanted to make things right for the way he, being SIE president at the time, and Sony treated the original. His wish was to give the game a new chance to shine.
