It's not outsourced. Ubisoft Mumbai lead the work on this one (they are rather a supporting developer for Far Cry and Assassin's Creed).
If the 'leaked' price of Xbox proprietary SSD is indeed $220, there's no point in skipping the Xbox Series X for the S.
Well, now it is the same as Xbox's price (up from $5 a month to $10).
Hardcore gamers keep shitting on 'casuals' for being stupid, ruining gaming, etc. Yet, here we are, they are naively eating any marketing gibberish those corporates throw at us. Nvidia, Intel, AMD, Microsoft, Sony, they all do it. "Here's a completely honest, definitely not-hand-picked result that runs up to xyz on our new hardware."
As "a smart consumer," you should wait and observe, not drool over this nonsense.
Ubisoft should drop the Assassin's Creed moniker already.
All they needed to do was take Black Flag, remove the Assassins stuff, expand the ships, crews, enemies, and add PvP as an option for those who would want it, that's it.
I hope this doesn't hold us all back in the middle of next generation.
You CAN compare TFLOPS if it's the same architecture, same generation of cards from one manufacturer. You CAN'T compare different GPUs from different architectures or manufacturers.
TFLOPS is just 2*StreamProcessors*GPUClock.
For example, the RTX 2080 Ti has 4,352 CUDA cores and base GPU clock of 1,350MHz which equals to 11.75TFLOPS. Some enthusiasts can overclock the GPU core clock to 2,105MHz which increases the TFLOPS to 18.32. Gaming performance: +2-10...
I don't know if that counts as hating. I have a 16GB pack here that simply removes blur and jarring from textures vs. a 600MB pack from 2010 that looks 10 times better. Which is best is an easy decision for me.
And just like all AI enhanced/upscaled texture packs, it belongs in the trash.
As expected from anything published by 1CE.
I apologise for my mistake. I just checked the official website footnotes, and it states that it's a standalone purchase (i.e., a remaster if you will).
In a perfect world, you would have gotten both RTX 3080 and Cyberpunk 2077 on the same day.
Maybe we can get the E3 trailer quality this time. I am sure the next-gen consoles and GPUs can handle it fine.
It's free.
Hairworks is exclusive to Nvidia unfortunately.
@BrainSyphoned then Bethesda (as usual) screwed things up by introducing their bloatware launcher and it prevented people from playing the Special Edition, asking them to buy the game again.
It's not a remaster. It's a free upgrade for current owners of the game.
Yeah, let's buy a $500+ console because:
- It can play Minecraft and Gears;
- PS5 will also do the same;
- Fable trailer was cinematics ("CGI"), and none of the trailers (gameplay or otherwise) were running on native Xbox Series X hardware, just speced PC.
The way Microsoft has handled this shows that they've learned absolutely nothing. Remember the Game Awards' Xbox Series X and Hellblade II reveal? Everyone was gushing over...
You just made my day, thank you!
