I agree, the PS3 version is nearly unplayable at this point. The 360 version still has hackers, but nowhere near as bad as the PS3 version. It's a shame, I wish companies could at the very least monitor their servers. With all the money Activision has, they should hire some "community babysitters" and make sure no one's cheating online. If they have the decency to keep their servers online, they should at least make sure they're playable.
They should add the ability to download PSONE classics from the PSN store onto this PSmini. That would be perfect.
Okay, someone is flagging all the comments as "inappropriate," even though all these comments seem absolutely fine. Mods, something needs to be done here.
I have a really hard time going back to Halo 1's campaign. It's extremely mundane in today's standards. The levels felt like they were going forever, and that fucking "library" level, ugh...
Halo Reach is my favourite campaign in the series. Excellently paced, with gunplay that feels amazing.
Sorry Nintendo, but my money is not in this castle. I already purchased these games years ago. And I still have the roms for every mario game backed up, even after they took down online roms :)
"Who cares."
Look around you. We're on a gaming website.
Wait, where did the author get the idea that Halo fans wanted a Battle Royale mode? I'm not really invested in the Halo community anymore, but is it true that the community is actually longing for a BR mode? I doubt it. I think many gamers in general have had enough with BR modes in every game.
Good. The more this game sells, the better for everyone :)
I'd like to see a "Boss mode" this time around. Smash 4 had nothing when it came to story mode. I'm not saying that we need another subspace emissary that's 8 hours long. A boss rush mode would be just fine.
A lot of people who got to play the game at E3 said it wasn't a "Smash 4.5." It felt like a new Smash game. A lot of aspects of the game haven't been announced yet. There's going to be more character reveals, not just the ones we got at E3. I think they want to reveal them gradually throughout the year. At least I hope so. I agree with you that it'd be disappointing if they just ported the WiiU characters and called it a day.
I'd like to see a...
That's a relief. I can't imagine how disappointed people would be if the new Halo ended up being a BR rip off. This was actually my biggest fear with the game. I'm glad we can put that rumor at rest.
I don't know if sales on the PC would've even helped by much. The game had massive marketing already (even a superbowl commercial). I remember reading somehwere that EA wasn't too pleased about the game not living up to their target sales. It was a really good game, don't get me wrong. But the truth was that it had way too much competition. Especially since GoW3 was releasing literally 3 weeks after Dante's Inferno
I don't know how they'd do a sequel since it's based on the books. And from what I remember, the books that came after Inferno don't take place in hell. :/
Dante's inferno was a great game. But I wouldn't say it's the best GoW clone. That would be Castlevania:Lords of Shadow. Now that game had it all. I'd say it was almost on-par with GoW3. Anyone who's a fan of GoW and hasn't played Castlevania:LoS, you're doing yourself a dis-service.
When will people ever learn... Oh well, you know the saying. A fool and his money will part ways...
I'm glad this game exists, just to piss off the feminists. :)
@FallenAngel1984
And for good reason too. It's truly the only way to experience competitive smash. Even casual smash isn't the same without a gamecube controller. And it's pretty damn durable too. My friends have had theirs for almost 12+ years, and they still work awesome. They're indestructable.
Preordered one for me, and one for my brother. Had to get them from different sites because they only let you buy 1 through Amazon.
This is still a streaming service at the end of the day. You'll just be playing a downgraded version of the games. We're just not there yet in terms of technology. PS3 games on PSNow look like shit. How do you expect them to get PS4 games right. I'd prefer if they just give us the ability to download them. Just because the movie industry is capable of going the streaming route, doesn't mean video games have that ability either.
