Xbox Live has about 3 different ad spots, they're all static images, and they're always related to new content. And that's somehow a massive nuisance? Sure. That's just like what Home's doing in fact.
...NOT!!!

G4.
Sucks.
No save.
I would, hwoever, love a 24/7 Star Trek: TNG network, which is the only thing I bother checking out that channel for anymore.
And yes, "2.0" also sucks.
So stupid.
Nevermind the fact that he's one of the most respected videogame figures in Japan. He's entirely in Microsoft's pocket, and that's the end of the story. Because... er... that's the only system he's ever developed for? Because he doesn't have a history of changing systems with the times? He hasn't made blockbusters on multiple consoles?
Yup. Owned by MS. That must be it.
And if anyone knows Bungie history, they would know that Bungie games come together at the last minute. Halo(1) came together in the last 3 months or so, and Halo 2 was entirely rebuilt in the last 6 months. Halo 3, again, will be lucky if it doesn't get entirely rebuilt sometime between now and release.
Ken Kutaragi: "People will work harder to pay for PS3... PS3 will bring discipline to this nation."
^^^Not arrogance, huh?
....rrrrriiiight.
'Cept for Europe, of course.
Nevermind the fact that you can install Linux on it and run almost anything you want out of the box. Nevermind that copy-protection has been broken on both BluRay and HD-DVD, rendering both formats almost totally broken in terms of hacked-ness. Nevermind that you can swap out its BluRay and hard drives with a PC with basically zero effort.
PS3 isn't hacked yet in two specific areas- playing backups and accessing RSX- and that makes it 100% unhackable.
....rrrrigh...
...and PS2 was competing with...?
-N64? A console that really didn't get its legs until its last 6 months in existance.
-Dreamcast? A project that doomed itself in Japan so badly due to SEGA's reputation that even with good worldwide sales, it couldn't have survived even with no competition.
-Atari Jaguar? Heh.
Last I checked, PS3 was still last in sales globally (considering released territories only), and both 360 and Wii are still doing very well for the...
I might as well just chalk this account up for bannination:
*ahem*
"That's weird- they're still selling 360's Core unit."
Yup.
,..sure... just "happened" to be an advertiser on this site... ;)
But lots of decent cables do have a lifetime warranty, and that's always a good idea, regardless. But if the $10 cable doesn't work out-of-the box, it probably won't wotk at all, and almost any store allows returns on cable.
Tougher build? Yes. But if you're harming your cables, you need to worry about why they're being harmed, not whether they'll endure.
Better signal? No. Again, even with interference factored in, HDMI features built-in error correction to deal with any minor interference. And if it's anything bigger than that, again, you need to worry about the source. Having a microwave on top of your HDMI cable isn't the HDMI cable's fault. Heh.
And to note: Most TVs also get vi...
Color and contrast = only differences, really.
And that's pretty universal. Some titles also show differences in textures and lighting, usually favoring 360, but they're often very small differences. A lot of PS3 games seem to have the color and contrast cranked up too high (including Motorstorm, IMHO), 360 too low (starting with King Kong).
I have no idea why developers would do the color/contrast like this, but it's pretty much universal at this point.
*cough*
VF5 barely edges out a 360 game that's over a year old?
Eerrrr... I don't think that's really a victory for VF5 at all.
Remember when it kept getting delayed and not meeting certification? THIS is why. Imagine if Microsoft would have just let this one out the door... yech.
Eh, it's a decent mockup, and all real info besides the pics, so at least it's close.
Weird that the Legendary is now quoted as $130 instead of $100 now. That sucks.
HOW CAN YOU BREAK THIS STRAP? Just the physics of this boggle the mind. Even a few bare clothing strings can more than support the Wiimote on a good swing. You'd have to cause some significant damange to the strap before it could snap.
Now, if he didn't keep the strap securely fastened and this happened, then he'd be like 99% of other Wii players who've had this happen and blamed Nintendo for it.
Own up to your non-manual-reading ways! I have a friend just like p...
To clarify-
You can only download and/or play the H3 beta with Crackdown if the Crackdown disc is in, and you're connected to Xbox Live, and you go to the Marketplace link in Crackdown itself.
If someone says they'll sell you their Cracdown invite or whatever, unless they're selling you the physical disc, you're getting gipped.
1) Yes, the date is made up by the site. Doesn't mean the beta WON'T ship on that day, but they probably don't have any "inside info".
2) As always, wait for Bungie confirmation, as they cover offers like these in their "Weekly Updates"- bungie.net
3) Cool for Germans! Can't wait to pwn you all in Halo 3! (just kidding- I'll be dead in moments)
NDS has 19 games on the list, etc.
Phil Harrison, prior to the drop of hardware BC for the Euro launch:
"We are fully commited to backwards compatibiltiy for the PlayStation 3."
"Backwards compatibility is one of the core features of the Playstation 3."
"Our goal is 100% backwards compatibility."
^^^What happened?
