First off a fan running in a console is not the same thing as overheating. Second fans running is not a problem, consoles crashing and needing to be repaired would constitute an actual problem. (rrod)

Sony made laptops, computers, consoles phones and hardware in general before Microsoft and Sony also manufactures more different types of goods like TV and camera's and all sorts of component pieces like LCD panels, lenses, switches and numerous other types of circuits and other manufactured goods.
Sony actually owns factories and clearly has more experience in manufacturing goods than Microsoft

darthv72, So what your saying is Microsoft choosing not to use Blu-ray held back the games? Hopefully Microsoft's SSD which is half the speed and proprietary doesn't hold back next gen games similarly and cost an arm and a leg compared to off the self SSD's you'll be able to use with PS5 since Sony decided to just add a standard M.2 port.
I really wish this game had sold better. I would have loved a continuation, the music and characters and humor were on point.

That's really unfortunate, hopefully they roll it out in more areas. Even if they removed the streaming IMHO the downloadable games are more than worth the cost.

Ah, it's for new customers only so I can't do it. But for people who have a PlayStation I highly recommend it, 4 bucks a month for over 900 games plus new games every month.

Well... I'm not sure what you're proving. Factually Japanese games have sold poorly on xbox when compared to PS4 or even Switch.
For example FFXV sold over 5 million on PS4 and only 1 million on xbox. Or Tekken 7 which sold 2.5m on PS4 and only 500,000 on xbox. You can look at pretty much any Japanese game with a side by side launch and you'll see the same thing. Most xbox games this gen have sold around 15% of what PlayStation versions sold.
NieR: Automata wasn't a timed exclusive. Square decided to release it on xbox after it's success on PS4 (and probably a truck full of money from Microsoft). It was never planned for xbox.

RosweeSon, xbone has sold around 110,000 in Japan total all generation. For reference 360 sold around 1,660.000.
People need to understand Sony has made agreements with retailers and manufacturers world wide. I doubt it's so easy for them to say say "ok it's digital only now".
Thing like this are a complex balancing act.
I don't doubt that the supply will be limited due to Corona, but why are they adding in the part about cost? In a non-corona world regardless of cost they would want to put as many consoles on the shelves as possible. It's not like even at 100% production they could produce before launch more consoles than could be sold in the life of the console even if the console mega flopped.

Naughty Dog and Guerrilla Games and Bend and Insomniac and Santa Monica and Sucker Punch and Media Molecule plus others.
Sony has a line-up of award winning studios that have made best selling and award winning games for generations other than just Naughty Dog.
And of course let's not overlook their strong ties with 3'rd party, Japanese and independent studios.
I would like to know what they think caused a supposed 25% increase in xbox sales yoy because I'm going to have to call that hard to believe.
But considering vgchartz has xbox tracked higher than AMD says they have sold chips on multiple occasions this gen perhaps I should just chalk it up to that.
