because firstly, the PS3 was a cheaper choice for my needs, the MGS4 bundle was less expensive than the combined purchases of the 360 Elite and accessories needed for what I wanted (PS3 came with more of what I wanted but still didn't include all of it). I still buy from them because I simply clean them off, they often have pretty good deals on last gen games as was said, but you have to have a certain awareness for some of them. some people would buy multiple PS3's (or any console), how is it different than having different tv's or DVD players in the same house....maybe people have one for their children, one for the den, or maybe one in the bedroom and one in the family room for blu-rays.
