Instead of comparing apples to oranges folks, read the article. Never mind who's sword is bigger, rejoice for all gamers. Sony is hinting at a price cut (competitive pricing is what was reported) from March 2009 and on, which coincides with Killzone 2's release. SWEET!

Me, I'll actually play the game to see how I feel about it. I don't look at scores but do read what they like and what they didn't like about games I'm interested in. Scores do (even though I have no proof) affect some portion of the gaming population in whether they will buy the game or not. Believe it or not, some gamers ONLY go by scores read/seen from gaming reviewers (and hype/sales I should add). Which is sad because a lot of people will not get to experience great games that way.
I for one am having a blast with a 6/10 EDGE scored game!

Had to wait forever for the dang buffer to get to the KZ2 portion, all I got to say is DAMN! The sound alone has got me drooling. Sounded like a freakin GUN PARTY! Then the bearded guy came on and I was amused and dumbfounded at the same time. Sounds like SOMEBODY was getting pwned during some gaming sessions and vented on the preview. As far as controls go, I'm glad GG won't change it. No bunny-hoppers here buddy.

You're right, it is his opinion, and he is sure as hell entitled to it. I agree with that part. It's how he said it. "As a matter of fact" kind of way. He states his opinion then says it's the end of discussion. Like only his opinion matters and we should all just agree or die. Pretty lame if you ask me.

Preference shouldn't have anything to do with their review. If what he says is true (about why the gaming experience is better because of the controller) then it should be so noted in the review but not count. He's a video editor, hmmm, I wonder if his preference affects the comparison video's?

The best remedy would be to find the problem and fix it.
Been reading through the posts and I have to say your experience should open up a few minds. But alas, it falls mostly deaf ears. I don't know about RRoD being caused by heat/ventilation issues because mines bricked brand new out the box on an open shelf with no other electronics or heat sources around it. I believe it's more of a hardware design flaw more than anything. It's why I let my gold subscription run out and update my box via games. Keep preaching, some peeps do listen.
