Then move to other consoles. Take care of the hard stuff first.
That 3rd party devs major complaint was devloping on the PS3 is HARD. Time to share notes devs. Change the 'is' to 'was'.
And thou shall receive...
I'm blind from the over exposure to pure awesomeness.
Cuz US already started.
Can see the bigger picture, as in if we confirm now it can potentially hurt our sales till then.
No need for the sarcasm bro. You know what I meant, bandaids are temp fixes, I'm talking long term fix. Sending in a console and getting a new one isn't fixing the problem, it's a temp solution. Don't take every comment that goes against what you're saying as an attack where you feel the need to retaliate. I just find it funny that even after so many years in production that RRoD still happens. Like I've stated in other posts, money is the bottom line for MS. If people are still willing...
As in middle. Great post, btw, Fig. Hit it right on the nose.
Game is fun, regardless of sales numbers. We should be looking at the fun factor not the sales factor. Too many variables when you take into account the latter. The former is obviously way up there. Don't stop yourself from trying it due to sales numbers. Seriously, how ridiculous is that?!
You're right. I got so bored in GTA IV, played it once, traded it in.
First of many.
To attract new gamers. But with a price cut coming next year and the hype this title will undoubtedly receive, not as much as you might think. Gamers who don't own a PS3 will still know about GoW 3, even without a commercial/magazine/radio/inte rnet advertisement. Even the purest of fanboys will know.
On a scale of 1-10, 5 being average.
If you are a TRUE gamer, then what ever game you want to play, you WILL learn how to get used to which ever controller. Even the Wii controller... :D
The reviews helps me get a good feel for a game. Lately though, it seems to be a lost art for reviewers. Scores mean little to me, just the good and bad about a game is what I look for.
With textures like that, he must have been looking really hard for bland textures. Or playing 50 ft. away from the television.
I said the same thing to Thor (above). It would seem to me that any/all PS3 exclusive games have a higher grading standard than the others, no matter the platform. Hope this doesn't sway folks from experiencing it for themselves.
but if it's a lack of innovation that gives it a 7/10, then shouldn't every recent shooter get a 7/10? Why do some games with little innovative get average scores while others get awesome scores with no innovation? Even worse, why do some games get great scores because the MP is a blast and the SP is okay, while others get average scores for their okay SP and solid MP? Why are we now judging KZ2 against the entire genre of first person shooters?
for you Fig, well said.
Then you aren't considered a flop, according to a lot of negative posts here. Oh, and it has to be in the first week.
I have the game and love it so to me it's all that matters.
