Most of the screen shots posted made it hard to tell if they were showing vista or 7.
Just hit up your friends list on whatever platform you use and have them hit up any friends they have on their friends list. If anybody asks, "WTF is Killzone 2?", show em the vids on the internet. After you slap them of course.
Take a gander at the multitude of videos and pics. You will see a lot more definition to details (even the little stuff is sweated) then you see in RE5. With a lot more color.
Although I dislike your tactics (or lack of tactfulness) I must agree (to a certain degree). Fans need to understand we're not talking about an established franchise here, we're talking about a game that has a lot to prove. This isn't no MGS4 game that's coming up, this a follow-up to KZ1, and we all know how that was received (plus the whole CG fiasco). I would rather count the chickens after they hatch then cry wolf. Will it sell systems? Yes. Will it sell systems like MGS4 did? No, ...
pre-order, then if the collectors edition comes out, switch it? I do it all the time!
will be fine. Reading through their latest news releases, they can afford more advertising now. And foo-19 is right, I've been seeing a LOT of PS3 commercials on TV. Like during TUF and football games. They are stepping up. Another great way is word of mouth. Tell your friends (and your friends friends and their friends and so on), no 'gamer' should miss out, no matter the platform preference.
imagine the looks you'll get on the way to work (or school) sitting in traffic!
Am I not surprised, YOU are here again with nothing but negative comments. Have you even played the game? Maybe it's just not your style.
that glows AND you can wear. Now I'd buy that for a hundred bones.
Do you purposely troll PS3 articles to add negative comments Optimus?
I was hoping for the same feeling I got when I first played in Liberty City. The feeling I got in the first 10 minutes of the game really surprised me: boring. I traded that bad boy in right away...
This game will make it feel like a real shootout.
"One thing becomes immediately apparent when you begin Killzone 2's campaign: This is not an easy game."
Awesome, looks like I finally understand what the chubby dude from 1up was saying (even though he was talking about MP), this game is built on realism. A tactical shooter, nice.
Which will undoubtedly go unnoticed by most. I believe Sony when they said, "Next-Gen doesn't start until we say so."
There's a chance for it to be even better? No way!
Sales will come. Nothing beats word of mouth advertising. If people don't buy it, it becomes their loss. If not initially, eventually the sales will grow.
The flame thrower shown in KZ2 is realistic. I am glad they didn't go for the Hollywood version because they are keeping the game as a realistic shooter and not arcade shooter.
For ruining the ambiance.
Bubble me up High Man!
i got a 9950 with gtx 260, same res max settings gives me 91 FPS solid.
