for the prices to reach $100 myself before I slap one in the ol PC.
As many times as needed. But read the fine print, not everything is covered.
Oh, I've been seeing a lot of 'sales' comments. Those of you (like me) who've been gaming for years know that sales has nothing to do with the quality of a game. The only time sales came to mind is when I thought to myself, "Man, I hope it sells well enough so they make a sequel!" Hell, back in the day, I didn't read about day 1/week 1 sales figures the same week a game was released, let alone magazine reviews. I had no idea, yet it never stopped me from picking up games. For e...
"R2 dismal sales, bottom of the top 10 in the UK"
then
"No R2 at most retailers in the UK due to shipping issues"
wonder what's next....
EDIT: I guarantee the dismal story will be hotter than this one. Seems nobody likes positive stories, only negative ones make the top o the list.
games just play better on windows os. Hence games for windows...
But only cuz I can't afford any more games right now...
ONE of the best comments I've read. Bubbles for you.
Just we don't have exploding heads here, please be sure to brace yourselves for some negative feedback on the game come December 4th. Don't get all excited for the 4th then be surprised and angry that some hefty dude complained that it was too hard for him to shoot his rifle like it was in COD4. Me, I like realism, and I welcome this type of shooter with open arms.
Which is why I think MS never went ahead with the PC/360 Halo 3 multiplayer online integration.
But when you can run at smoothly at a 100+ frames per second with max settings at a higher resolution (1920x1200), I'd say the PC looks and plays MUCH better, at a VERY hefty price. But, like I said earlier, I love having choices.
With Steve, I like having choices, which is why I got all 3 consoles and a PC. But to say one is better than the other, no matter how you slice it, is silly. Just enjoy your choices have and don't hate the choices you don't have...
I'm wiping down my desk from the water you made me spew from laughing....
I called it in an earlier comment, Jasper is the MS fix to RRoD (like Windows 7 will be to Vista). Soooooo, if you don't a 360, now would be a great time to get one and enjoy even more games! I can see how MS called the 2-1 ratio for Christmas. When it comes to money making strategy, MS has got that bad boy down pat.
CG movies on BD. Now thats where you can tell the biggest difference in image quality IMO.
Looking at how MS rolls, Jasper is the RRoD fix. Like XP/2000 was to ME. And how Windows 7 will be to Vista. Don't think the Jasper will have a high failure rate like the O.G. 360 did, so if you've been holding off for a 360, here is your chance. I've been burned by O.G. 360 already, so I think I'll wait a few moments and see how Jasper holds up before trading up.
Then you will get the "Well game was supposed to sell millions and be the second coming and move consoles and sell one million in one day and was so hyped by EVERY PS3 fan here on N4G and is going to be the Mario Killer," and on and on and on. Who really cares, all that matters is that you enjoy the game yourself.
What's with knocking the dead guy?! Have you no class?
...second place is the first loser...
No bunny hopping for once in a FPS. But I'm sure I will...
Mines too *sigh* why am I laughing about that...
