Again, hypocrisy at it's best. Everything you complained about in your post can be said of CoD: Black Ops. Every level in shown so far in Black Ops has a similar counter-part in MW2. But does that make it a bad thing? Far as I know, Killzone 3 has weather conditions that Killzone 2 didn't have. Does Black Ops have something about it's environment that MW2 doesn't?

I think it's horrible because it doesn't really show what you're getting yourself into. Microsoft is good at doing this with everything they sell.
I disagree. Can you name me ONE big thing that Microsoft held off until the last moment? Microsoft is known for building hype for everything they sell. So to say that they're holding out on the core/hardcore for Kinect until the last moment goes against their track record. I think core game will come for Kinect, but not anytime soon, and even then won't be the core we're used to (Forza on rails). MS is spending half a billion on advertising. They WANT that return on investme...
If Kinect is the future of gaming and Kinect is aimed at casuals (for the most part), then the future is casual (for the most part), on the 360. I will fight that future. I would rather spend money to have more core/hardcore games with casual on the side then the other way around. Can you imagine Plants vs Zombies for $60? Hell no, not for me.
State of the internet brought on by Microsoft. Always touting sales, sales, sales and using more money for advertising than research, development and smart investments. All so they can take your money and tout sales, sales, sales. It's a vicious cycle.

Black Ops indeed. Sounds like stuff out of a spy movie. The stuff they go through to leak it to the interwebs. I give them an A for effort and Fail for hacking. That still won't stop then though.
Why don't they ever let good players beta test games? Or at least let the good players with upload video capability. Just sayin..

You don't seem like you hate it at all. I don't hate it either and I'm with you about giving it a chance, but I don't like where this is going right now. I like new tech as much the next guy but this isn't priced at a casual price point in this economy. For that kind of money you better show games (or a game) that takes advantage of that tech. MS shouldn't spout all that 'the awesome tech' and 'what it's able to do' and 'the future of motion...
The sad thing is that I'm sure Kinect will be successful commercially and that is all the rabid fanboys will need to sing it's praises. It doesn't even have to work properly or have any good games, if it sells than the fanboys will be ecstatic. Just reading some of the comments above makes me frown. Is that what we are turning into, gamers who only care if the game sells and has a high Metacritic review score? Damn you Microsoft, first the major journalists and now the gamers....
I blame MS for leading people to the belief that you should only have the latest and greatest. If not, we won't support you. They do it with everything they make.
