Hearing good things generally about this game. A shame Sony didn't spend a tiny bit more time on it during their media briefing. It's games like this which are needed to sell VR to the naysayers.
1800 crowns WTF.
1500 crowns you can buy for £11.99
750 crowns for £6.39
So to get this mount you need to spend over £18.
this is on Xbox One.
It's optional I know, but c'mon the pricing is out of this world and people are complaining about Destiny's new content.
If someone started putting posted up of me or wrote an article every time I passed wind, would that be submitted here for all to see I wonder?
Using the bat detective skills one could deduce the score was deliberately deflated for sensationalism.
"we're pleased to see the game is set to launch in a very refined, polished state."
Enough said. Other developers take note.
Some folks aren't going to like the opinion in this article but nostalgia's a bitch sometimes.
Not clicking through 39 bloody pages.
Note to editor of site. This is how you dissolution and dissuade your potential audience.
For me the appeal is:
1. Being able to explore infinitely with the prospect of always finding something new - a bit like in an MMO hunting for rare gear drops.
2. Gathering as much coin by gathering resources and trading so I can upgrade my ship to its fullest.
3. Choosing sides when I want to and being a meanie on one day, a saviour the next.
4. The ultimate botanist discovering new lifeforms and sharing those discoveries. ...
Awesome. And it's this prospect I think that will make No Man's Sky a proper game rather than just deep exploration - which some people think will get old fast. The option to change worlds through personal choice has much more meaning. You have all those ships fighting in space they have to come from an intelligent civilization somewhere.
Sony could have shown a video montage of games in development but they showed nothing.
Sony could have shown a user interface (like the Oculus Store for the Gear VR) or some PS4 home navigation in VR.
Like Microsoft did with the Hololens demo they could have shown something practical without requiring the audience to don VR head sets but chose not to.
I was deeply disappointed in this regard and agree with the author. It's just not ready...
I just watched the video again and he scans first then says "as luck would have it no alien life" as if to expect the scan results to show life.

Then runs into alien animals . Coupled with his lack of surprise when he sees the animals after the fish maybe he did mean humanoid lifeforms which would be awesome. Maybe they get picked up by the scanner and the ...
Yeh I noticed this as well. It looked familiar until I realized it's the same game I played on Gear VR which is no longer available to play there.
Yeh looks good and I like the idea of a sandbox mode. But will everyone be Agent 47 is what I want to know?
Gonna post this again cos. Well I completely agree this was the best part.

In response to the article.
Failure no
Underwhelming yes.
The best moment for me was this.

I think the author raises some good points but the game isn't finished yet and maybe the fact we saw Earth like creatures was for the sake of the demo or even just how the build is running right now.
I didn't understand what Sean meant when he said "as luck would have it no alien life" on planet E3 and then runs into fish and other animal life forms on the planet. Did he mean humanoid alien life?
What happened to the short skirt wearing Japanese schoolgirl that was in the first demo for this game?

Complete visual downgrade here as expected.
It's about having choice DarkO. I expect the experiences on each device will be unique.
My Gear VR 1 is already out of date since the S6 Gear VR launched.
My honest opinion:
OnlySP It's great you managed to film at E3 (at the back in the dark room) but the quality of your video as a result is pretty poor to the point of not showing anything much. The ridiculous claim of "Off Screen Gameplay - 1080p" is undermining the intelligence of the viewer.
