everyone saying:
'how can they say this if they haven't tried on the 360?'
He explains: 25GB of data and a HDD. Mulitple DVD's might fix 1 problem, but i think he's clear about this game needing a HDD.
But I dunno why seeing as he says there's no install... but I know jack about games development.
I wish I bought mine at launch. 4 USB ports. 60gig HDD. Backwards compatability with PS2 games. Flash card readers.
I got the stripped down 40gig. :(
hell yeah. nothing ever got me hooked online, coming back for more, until KZ2. It's the only console game I've ever played online as much as a do. The last online games i was hooked were Call of Duty, the original, on PC, and Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear before that. So it's been a long time coming.
There's something so satisfying about that little bleep noise when you shoot a dude and watching that score tick up.
dude, your hard to please.
or maybe i'm just more easily entertained.
I totally disagree with Killzone 2 and GTAIV being overrated.
GTAIV I love, and rate as the must have title of this gen. Everytime I hear of someone getting an Xbox or PS3, I say get GTAIV. I've spent hours and hours on it, and still do. Finished the missions long ago. Fact is, GTAIV's longevity is up to how creatively you play it. People complain its realism hampers the fun aspect, and end up shooting cops and having a few chases, and thats it. I think the physics, the combat, a...
Yeah all this talk of sales... I find it so weird. I've never seen anyone barrack so hard for a company to be successful with a product who isn't an employee or shareholder. This focus of the 'gaming community' on who is outselling the other is really strange. I come on N4G to see if there are any cool games coming out I should pick up and instead I feel like I'm always reading company status reports, stock analysis and sales projection charts.
Where did all the fun go?
i've never played a online game on xbox live, and the only two online games i play really are killzone 2 and battlefield 1943, sometimes GTAIV.
Is live really that good? what can I do on it that I can't do on PSN? I don't have a headset and am not really interested in chatting to strangers online anyway.
This is not a beat up by the way, but a legit question as to how Live differs from the PSN? Is it just the chatting options?
the elite 360 is simply not as much value for money at the same price with no bluray or wifi.
In australia the PS3 is now cheaper than the elite, by 50 dollars too.
PSP Go is WAAAYYY overpriced. I've still got a PSP-1000. I only had two games on it when I first bought it in 2005. I only got it cos I was doing a big holiday at the time and wanted something to do on the plane. Now with the resurgent interest in the PSP with the Go I've started using it again and realised what a good little handheld it is, and you can acutally have a great gaming experience on a small screen (I bought GoW, and both Syphon filter games about a month ago).
So wi...
couple of questions then to those who might know:
I bought a 40gb PS3 back in December 2007. I plan on sticking a 1TB HDD in it. Will this work? I know you can replace the HDD, but it says something on that page about supporting up to 160Gb. This confused me a little, but I'm assuming that's just a model available for purchase?
All said, it seems the only change with the slim is the cost and size. No point changing if you already have the 'fat' one.
blame GTPSP. that easily sucked 2 years dev time out of GT5.
i dont know anyone who plays GT games like an arcade racer and bombs the cars head on into walls just to see what happens anyway.fact is even without it the games are still the best racing sims out there.
yeah wtf? i dont know why they're against it. so what if you see their flagship models all screwed up? that's what happens when MOFO's crash a car?!?!
i hope damage is on all cars. it'd make no sense to me to not have it. i'd like to know if the damage affects the car's performance?
i never heard of forza until today. sounds like a some rat hole in italy.
can i get a hell yeah?!
well said.
Its complicated, so they should actually try get over that bridge so it becomes easy.
looks hot.
by the way, aside from graphical glory, was crysis actually good or just visual poon?
im playing through tenchu shadow assassins on PSP now...
Its a bit mediocre but im playin it through cos it cost me 50 bucks. Won't be getting this one...
most multiplats are lead developed on 360 anyway, so naturally the quality will be better on those using the 360 where there are differences.
no AAA exclusives however, compare.
