I played it through and finished it about 2 weeks ago, but only the second time since I got it.
It's awesome. Probably the most involving game anyone will ever play. Not many games rope you into the story and characters like this one.
God of War or Gears of War?
when i bought my ps3 there was pretty much only 2 games worth getting. Uncharted and NBA2K7. I kept saying for a whole year... I've just got to wait, the games will come.
There were some good ones in 2008. But now It's like all my christmases have come at once!
that's ultimately why I chose the Playstation over all the other consoles. You can rely on Sony to always have great quality, deep, core games.
If it was sold for even 50 dollars cheaper at 200, that would be the perfect price point, but the only new feature I can see is blutooth, and the resdesign.

MGS 4 is one of my favourite games of all time, and indeed, the rest of the games I've played in the franchise rate in my top 10 also. I doubt MGS:Rising would suck just because Kojima is not heavily involved in its production.
First of all there's nothing stopping the game being over a number of discs on the Xbox. Apparently that's what FFXIII will be, and I see no reason why it can't be like that on Xbox.

having a bigger grid to race against. the trailer only had 8 cars in a race. hopefully the full game has at least 16.
maybe take some of the 'shine' off the cars too, they don't look realistic in the screen shots. cars aren't even that shiny on the showroom floor.
Forza is becoming the most hyped game ever, but instead of from the game media, its from the guys making the game. It's working though.

tell microsoft so they can steal your idea, generate it into millions of dollars, and all you'll see from it is 60 of your dollars going to buy the game... then maybe another 100 or so going to buy a Natal.

i'm one of those unlucky people who have seen gears played and never played it myself.
it blew my eyes out of my sockets when i first saw it played at a friends house.
so a clone of gears? might not be, but it wouldn't be a bad thing for me if it were.
