digital distribution won't replace physical media because currently and into the forseeable future, many markets have restricted access to high capacity, high penetration, high speed internet.
Until such becomes a global standard, I don't see companies ditching discs.

I have GT PSP, and have been playing it all weekend. It's the best PSP game out there, period. It's pretty amazing for a handheld.

I heard about this on BBC World radio about 3 or 4 months ago. Pretty funny cos my housemaid came over today and bought her kids with her, they bought their 360 with them, and it RRoD'd right in my living after i plugged it in for them and after they started playing for 10 minutes. They thought my tv did it, and I had to explain to them it happens to 1/3 Xbox's and its happened to me 3 times. Lucky for extended warranty.

Cool, another must buy game. I'm glad PS3 finally has reached that market 'spot' PS2 had midway in the life cycle where there were always 'must have' titles out and coming out. Gone are the days where I'll wander down to my local store without a game worth buying.
