PC games always look better than console games, because consoles have 5-10 year lifecycles while new graphics cards and stuff are always coming out for PC's.
Personally I haven't gamed on my PC since Medieval 2: Total War came out, because I got sick of having to pay for upgrades to my PC every year to run the latest games. PS3 offers comparable graphics and its way cheaper.

I always avoided this game, cos i heard it was an overly difficult fantasy RPG, which didn't sound like my cup of tea, but the more i hear about it the more im interested in it. is it out in Australia yet?

This 'Premium Service' is not a forced charge, its optional. All the stuff you currently get out of the PSN won't change and will remain free- so online gaming etc etc will remain free.

KZ2's campaign is much better than MW2, and it's graphics and controls- I loved the cover system.
But MW2 beats in in muliplayer- better modes and leveling up.
yeah I hate camper nerds, but usually I see where they're camping in killcam and just go back and kill them straight away with a grenade or with the help of a flashbang 2nd time around. it's not that much of a problem if you like me and always seek revenge...muahahaha
I was really luke warm on MW2 multiplayer (having never played the first one) when I first got the game on PS3, but now like everyone else I'm hooked.
Personally never experienced any of these glitches or issues. I play mostly mercenary team deathmatch and domination, but also I'm not the most seasoned player having only just got to level 17, so here's hoping I don't hit them later.
It's the best game in my collection, by far.
But I agree the sales haven't been on the level of GOTY material- from the figures I've seen spruiked around the internets....
I think it's because Sony can't market anything. They might have stepped up marketing in America, but here in Australia, it still sucks. The UC2 marketing campaign lasted a week before it came out and a week after. If you want your game to sell, you gotta do way better than that.

this guy is acting on it. he's the reason there's no R18+ rating on games in Australia which means games get effectively banned- Left 4 Dead 2, Aliens vs Predator etc. are all banned from sale in Aus.
He says that it's a 'small vested interest' trying to impose its will on the wider population.
4 of the 5 State Attorneys General all support the introduction of an R18+ rating for games. He is the only one that does not, which is a block to the whole process (all 5 need to agree in order for the law to change).
whatever, the game still looks good.
As long as its not that dump of a game ODST was, then it'll be good.
BTW Sony's marketing sucks ass. It always has. Those 'It only does everything' commercials were a bright spark in an otherwise dull landscape of marketing suckiness.
What nintendo do that Sony and MS don't do is consistent advertisement of their games. Nintendo still advertise games that came out 2 years ago, like Mario Galaxy.
If they want it to sell consistently well past the initial release hype, then keep marketing it, on the net, on tv, posters, you name it. I still see ads for MW2, but none for Uncharted 2. It's a game well deserved of people's attention.
The PS3 slim is ugly and cheap looking.
I like my fat one way better. It might be big, but its also sleek and stylish.
