It doesn't seem creepy anymore, that was like the trailer to an action game.
I'll reserve judgement.
Honestly I only got a PS3 because I had a PSone and PS2 and was happy to own them and never had any gripes.
Same with my PS3- I'm happy to own it and never had any gripes.
That said I also have a 360 but I don't use it really- more because I had the PS3 first and its just the console that's set up in my bedroom. But when big games like Forza, ME2, Alan Wake etc come out its good to have the option of playing them and not arguing about which console is better.

Most people here read the headings, get happy or angry then respond in the comments without reading the attached articles- or that's at least the impression I get.
There's clearly a nuance of tongue in cheek in this title.
And I happen to agree that a great story goes a long way to making a game. If Wake delivers on that I'll be happy to play it.

I don't have much of an opinion on 3D TV's yet because I haven't actually seen one working.
My gripe I just spent $1200 on a HDTV last year for my gaming needs- so I'm not exactly looking to upgrade.

Loving the multiplayer right now with me and a couple friends- discovered using skype on a laptop to chat is much easier/better/clearer than a headset and we've been dominating.
Killzone wasn't really known for its story- more its solid gameplay.
Halo games I always thought had a good story arc but like any well worn franchise its started to wear thin because yeah, there just aren't many surprises anymore- plus I don't think Reach will be much of a story telling revelation.
I've never played Crysis so yeah- but I agree it doesn't look to have a thrilling plot.
Generally though shooters have poor stories by their nature. More sho...
I dunno why people are getting offended that Crysis 2 is looking better than a game thats been out for over a year ala KZ2.
KZ2 still looks rad, but shouldn't we expect at this stage for games to start looking better? Personally I'm looking forward to games being graphically surpassed, progress is good.

Personally I think it's a win for all of us that the graphics on games are becoming so good.
But for all the stuff I heard about Crysis looking so good- I never actually heard if it was a good game or not. The challenge is marrying flooring graphics to an awesome game- then its a win.
I also don't buy marketing hype that this is the 'graphical ceiling' of the PS3.
If you want to see 'in-game' graphics its pretty simple.
go to ign.com, and look at screenshots. They've got a bunch of in games ones there and they show off the graphics to be pretty darn good.

Search that on Google- I think there was a batch of PS3's with bad BluRay drives, probably unrelated- a firmware update wouldn't kill the disc drive.

There are so many positive distractions in this game its awesome
I'm craving a realistic Samurai game, instead of one full of warriors who look like they belong on mardi-gras floats and who glow with multi-coloured flames when they kill someone.
Instead of a combo-based brawler, lets have one with real swordplay, with great graphics, realistically rendered, nice open world environment and no bad, outrageously coloured haircuts and ridiculously camp armour.
Something with Rockstar-level open world graphics and detail, set in Japan,...
