Hey so question: I got this PC, it's kinda old, it was good in about 2005-6.
I dunno what graphics card it has, but what I know about it is its got Dual AMD 64 2ghz processor and 3583MB of Ram.
What do I need to upgrade to make it a decent gaming machine?
PS3 has a video record feature but I don't know about editing. Apparently it records the last 30 seconds of gameplay for when you do something fully sick, then you can upload that to youtube.
Personally I think this game will f***ing rock. This and Red Dead Redemption are my two most anticipated titles this year.
I'm envious of PC gamers for this one, because I know there'll eventually be numerous wicked mods for this game.
@ 3.1
I half agree with what your trying to say- storage limitations haven't really hurt the 360.
But its a moot point regarding multi-platform titles, because it's the same game on both consoles, and devs usually won't admit one platform held them back. The difference becomes apparent on exclusives though I think.
But also, I think right now it's simply too expensive to make a game on such a scale that you could easily say: look, PS3 can do this and 3...
Already known to everyone who follows gaming news....
Yeah I know! But TV prices drop so much every year. LED TV's which were hyper expensive last year are now in the affordable range.
Samsung are really good for the price- I game on a 32'' 1080p Samsung in my bedroom and it set me back only $1000AUD (that's like $850 USD). I've noticed recently though, while shopping around to upgrade another TV in the house that Sony TV's are now on price par with competing Samsung models. They're a little better build quality too.
I'll tell you why- the thing has a smaller screen than a laptop, the resolution is sub-hd, and it costs $8000.
Who the hell would buy that?
Yeah I second that.
I'd say it's for the in-game data logger, which you can probably just export to your Mac,then do what you will with it. PD are probably also using it to monitor gameplay and stuff for development purposes.
I've never used it but is cross game chat simply talking on a headset to someone who isn't playing the game your playing? If that's all it is, talk about the most overrated feature ever, I ain't paying for that.
The only thing that might interest me in paying for a premium PSN subscription is the unlimited download of PSone classics. Syphon Filter ahoy!
Think of how much time people sink into games- sounds like a recipe to charge more.
All you have to do is look at the Modern Warfare 2 leaderboards. The top guys have spent 35 days plus online, in matches. It tells you.
I thought I'd played it too much at 1 day and 6 hours.... and I've had it since launch.
What a stooge design. The XMB is on the Playstation, so to navigate you actually have to get up, walk over to your PS4 and start touching it.
It looks typical of a first year undergraduate design student. Lofty ideas without any thought of functionality.
seriously mrv321, wtf?
This is a crappy comparison anyway, using bad shots from each game.
MLG Pro, you've made a massive tech noob fail.
Fanboy goggles prompt stupid remarks.
Halo characters in all the games kinda look like toys. The art style is really, I dunno, plasticy?
7-11 do all their slurpee promos like this.
Last summer I had to get 5 to get a slurpee t.
sonds like bashing a promo just because its GOW to me
What if the 360 version looks better? We don't know that yet.
Hahaha what a coverup- but its only a video game so nobody will care that much.
Some comments are way out of the ballpark with this one. This was my favourite (cmbre):
'its funny thought that most x360 fans would pick the $50 million DLC because they refuse to acknowledge that MS strategy is wrong going as far as to make themselves believe they got the better deal and MS brain washing them to think like that.'
Just read that and think about why that's a stupid comment.
yeah interesting to note GT5 is probably already profitable because of prologue.
it still amazes me that its the only franchise around people are willing to pay for a demo like that.
can't wait for GT5
