Good companies make bad games all the time. This is a very hit and miss industry.
Personally I'm waiting to see what these game are before I jump aboard and if its going to be worth my cash.
In general I'm very skeptical of any motion control...
bravo
Typical flame bait...
We all know the price point of the PS3 was much too high until the launch of the slim. Now at a palatable price, the separation becomes- what can it do? Software on the systems I would say is equal- most games a multiplat and for each good exclusive there's another good exclusive on the other console.
PS3 does everything the Xbox does but has a blu-ray player and WiFi out of the box.
I never cried at any game, but I became the most emotionally involved in MGS:4 because I fell for its cheesy, over the top Japanese style story line and loved every minute.
What about Jordan Brand?
That stuff is everywhere- shoes, clothes, everything- and is advertised everywhere.
The reason Jordan was and is never in games (like the All Star teams in the 2K series don't have him for example) is because he was never a member of the Player's Association- which is basically the Union for NBA players.
So when publishers etc. buy licenses they buy a single one from the NBA Players association and they get all those players.
It's the same reason why there are coaches missing from some of the teams- they're not members of the...
First of all Lakers would not throw a game. They got beat. Lakers aren't a poor side- they don't need the money- and no team would throw a Playoff let alone conference finals game.
Second of all Kobe won't be on the cover two years running.
Third- my guess for the cover is Rajon Rondo or LeBron James. If Celtics beat LA then it'll be Rajon, if they don't then it'll be LeBron.
Natal won't be a failure- it'll be a huge success like the Wii. No matter what its lag and technical issues may be, it'll sell for the same reason people bought the Wii, the gimmick.
Control without a controller sounds great to any reasonably aware tech consumer I would have thought.
Personally though I have no time for motion controls- Natal or Move. The only input I'll be using that's not a standard controller for my console will be a fo...
I was under the impression Sony already did own Sucker Punch....
Then I'm Tony freakin' Montana!
Every dev on a big name title throws this statement around that they 'push it to the limit'... then the inevitable sequel comes out better.
I don't see this being a worthwhile addition to GT5.
I don't have alot of faith in the playability of motion controls for 'hardcore' experiences. Wii tennis was fun in bursts... but there's a reason I sold my Wii and bought my PS3 a while ago...
GTAIV haters be damned!
GTAIV stole 2008 from me- it was totally freakin' awesome!
Their style and setting and the emphasis each has on different elements of gameplay set them too far apart to be able to say one is better than the other in my opinion.
The biggest impediment to wholly digital distribution is the global lack of cheap and accessible high speed broadband capable of making it a convenient, efficient, cost effective and trustworthy alternative.
As it is, many countries have restrictive or limited broadband services. For example as an Australian, while we have high speed internet, its not comparable to other countries like Japan, Korea, US and countries across Europe; and it's expensive.

Cool.... this if done right could be a great twist to the gameplay.
I wonder if there'll be graphical tweaks or if they'll simply use the same engine
I hope they don't because they ruin a social aspect of gaming.
There's nothing I like more then sitting with friends, playing games like Modern Warfare 2, BC2, Uncharted 2, and even GTA and now RDR, and taking it a death at a time, passing the controller around.
It's great fun egging each other on, and just having a laugh over some video games. I can't see that happening if we're all wearing weird helmets.
yeah.... AWESOME
Same... obsessed...
