It's not that rare. Happened to me twice on PS3 and the official forums are full of people with the complaint. I'm not entirely sure but I think it's more of a console problem than a PC thing but I could be mistaken.
I know it affects both 360 and PS3.
Hooray, I can finally play it.
A good FPS is needed direly to make use of those dual analogue sticks! I hope Killzone is way better than those paltry FPS offerings served up so far.
PS Vita wish list:
-Gran Turismo, with full 'Premium' car treatment- I would even jump for joy for a straight port of GT5, with of course a few more modification options.
-Grand Theft Auto/Just Cause or a new sandbox IP that's in the same vein of over the top open world.

From the little I played it I was enjoying it. It seemed to me to be keeping with the ''dark humour' of the series' other entries. Hitman games have always touched on dark subjects in a slightly humorous way. Contracts I thought was the series darkest entry, but even that made light of the strange dark underworld- that level at the meat packing factory where a fetishist party was being held comes to mind.
Admittedly I've only played the first 5-6 levels in...
It's a glitch that crashes the game during gameplay and corrupts your save, I doesn't matter whether manual or auto. It's huge at moment, most console players are not happy at all.
It's happened to me twice, the second time I'd finished quite a large chunk of the game.
What's needed is the console patch to I'd the save corruption issue. It's made the game unplayable as you randomly have your save corrupted and lost.
like all game to movie movies, it'll be God of War in name only. The rest will be poorly scribed drawl.
I want to know who the genius was that thought Nihlistic should handle this IP. They had just about the worst track record ever and they got Call of Duty and Resistance, squashed them up into a little ball, and screwed them right up.
What a legacy.
This happened to me twice on PS3. Not happy.
I've experienced very few issues so far. Loving the game- great addition to the franchise
Lower price, 3-4 true AAA system sellers done right, an 'App' store (harness its power for more than just games- it could easily handle a good web browser (Chrome), an email client etc. It needs more than just $45-$60 games coming out every 2 months.
Good article- games don't need to be violent to be good is obvious, but why are there so many violent games and why are they so popular?
There's no point denying human beings are violent creatures though- it permeates so much of every culture we can't escape it. We're entertained by it, we're shocked by it, we want to constantly hear about it in the news, we celebrate it, we abhor it- we can't escape it. Violence is everywhere- or at least simulated vi...
I might have to go back to this game now- I bought it at launch and couldn't get into a populated game, and just stopped trying. Haven't played it since the first week it came out- but glad to hear its getting players now.
Friday night, its Starhawk night!
It would be a convenience to have it but not a necessity.
I don't plan on ditching my PS3- too many fond memories :). Best console I ever owned...
54 games in my library and counting. Actually, it'll be 56 tomorrow afternoon...
I'm not entirely sure he's giving it a 3 because he thinks its a 3, but I would like to see more review sites use the full 1-10 scale more often.
These days anything under a 7 people think as woeful and not worth their time, 7-8 appeals to fans of a franchise or genre only, 9 is what every game should be getting and 10 is God tier.
But in reality 5 should be the average, anything below is below average game, anything above is better (but 10 still Go...
I have resisted getting it so far for PS3, as everything I've read about it seems like bad news and the same issues that plagued the original BLOPS- choppy frame rate, lag and connection issues, hit detection issues- the whole thing seems off.
BUT everyone at my work has it and they've been putting the screws on me to get it- I hopefully won't cave.
As a side not, I chucked in MW3 tonight, and with servers under less strain, and all the 'dodgy...
I am still waiting for a patch to fix this game's problems before I buy it. I hated BLOPS because of its frame rate, lag and hit detection issues, it just Became an eternal frustration. Looks like Treyarch didn't bother fixing these things.
I'll buy this and judge for myself. I have owned every hitman game going back to when the first one came out in 2001 when I was a kid. I played the absolute hell out of it, doing mission after mission over and over.
From what I've read there's a few levels in this that aren't in strictly keeping with the hitman formula, but they still retain the classic Hitman play for most of the game. Plus with the other games there were levels that forced you to play guns b...
Definitely in the Top 5 PS3 games of all time.
Just a word on Farcry 3 on consoles- its impressive but not amazing- the draw distance is fairly limited, and the screenshots are all from a fully optimised PC build. I've completed about 50% of the game on PS3 and I can its graphical achievement is great but not as great as this article makes it out to be.
