I reckon it'll come out August/ September
I'm interested to see what they do with Gaikai and PS4.
Credible as they may be, leaked specs really mean not a whole lot until we have firm announcements from Sony and Microsoft. There's enough contradictory stuff out there to warrant skepticism.
You realise Sony also sell Vaio computers that all use Windows, right?
Game Trailers ALWAYS have major spoilers in their reviews. Thanks for the warning, almost fell for it again.
This wouldn't be the first time they've tripped me up.
Your spelling is horrible.
The article states that of the 4GB of PS4s ram, 512mb will be dedicated to the OS, leaving some 3.5 for pure gaming. I suspect though, with rumours of seamless transition between OS and games, this might be higher.
@HDshatter
The card is available for $450.00 retail if you look hard enough, and Sony, ordering commercial manufacturing quantities, will not be paying anywhere near that for the parts.
Attaching prices we pay at retail for hardware doesn't compare to what large companies making orders in the millions pay for wholesale. I've worked for a large automaker, and what we paid for externally sourced parts was somewhere in the region of 35-45% of retail. Di...
Some minor tweaks, maybe to the dPad, but I really like the current design. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
As long as it doesn't replace the dual shock, I'm in with something that'd make RTS games playable on consoles. Imagine the Total War games on it... Oohhhhh yeah!
Agree completely. Horrible, uncomfortable and impractical sums up most of them.
Vita like rear touch pad would actually be great on dual shock 4. Imagine using it on pro evo the same way it's implemented on FIFA on Vita.
PS3 games aren't region locked. I'm in Australia and I buy imported games all the time, mostly either US or Asian versions.
Once again, people who don't play video games trying to tell us they understand the medium so much, that they turn us violent.
The American gun lobby completely defies logic, by blaming everyone but the fact that the weapons that actually kill people are freely available really quite easily to almost anyone who wants one.
They better do this in all territories, not just the US.
Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnooooooooooo ooooooooooooooo!!!!
I hope not.
Hopefully not, looks like it deserves a big audience.
I don't live in Tokyo but I sympathise. I'm no longer a student with plenty of time on my hands- work and other commitments mean I have very little gaming time nowadays. I still manage to get a bit in on the weekend though, but a 40 hour game will last me a loooong time.
Same. This will be my first JRPG. I'm not really sure why I've never played a JRPG, I've just never really seen one that's appealed to me, but I'm a huge Ghibili fan, and can't wait to explore this game.
Then I guess I'll be keeping my PS3... Really BC is not required. If you have a large PS3 library you want to play on you'll have a PS3 anyway.
