Any confusion created was created by Microsoft's confusing messages. They barely talked about the system's gaming ability and potential, and when they did, it they were light on information, or made a bunch of contradictory statements.
TBH none of the game reveals looked any more impressive that the current gen. You had to try to actually notice major differences.
So they're bidding on MS's Adwords, who gives.
Some of those images are clearly of dual shock 4.
Really looking forward to thins game, especially online play.

Sadly I agree. I'm not going to jump to any conclusions until after the official announcement but the early 'reports' make it seem like an expansion not a sequel.
The next true GT game will be on PS4.

What I haven't been able to tell so far that I'm actually really interested in is whether the death animations are canned or if there's some kind of ragdoll or other physics at play.
IMO one of the best things about KZ2 and 3 is the physics, and how enemies etc react to the different guns, grenades etc.
I hope there's a great physics engine driving this game.
I love my Vita but yeah even I can see, there are only 2-3 releases this year worth mentioning, and as good as Soul Sacrfice is for a handheld, it's not a killer app, and frankly right now there isn't one. Hopefully Killzone Mercenaries provides the experience that we all expected from this device, so much wasted potential right now.

I'm open minded but so far sticking to Playstation. I like the gaming focus and all the stuff about ease of development to me seems as though there'll be some brilliant games.
Although with a compelling multimedia offering I'm not averse to a new Xbox either, and may end up with both. Problem basically is, with too many machines ultimately I don't have the time to split between them. iPad, iMac, iPhone and Vita already take away heaps of gaming time.
Loved Tomb Raider, first game I got really excited about in a while. I need to get into ascension more, I'm not great at it, seems a bit samey to GOWIII.
So anyone think this also inadvertently leaked the PS4 release date as 22 November or some time before it?
Or 22 November on current gen and later on next? Note that the end title screen says: "ALSO COMING TO CURRENT GEN CONSOLES" when it displays the date, not "ALSO COMING TO NEXT GEN CONSOLES" instead...?
amazing. Infamous 1 and 2 were brilliant games, easily among the best this gen. Second Son looks to me like it will carry on the tradition, in all it's next gen glory!
