I'm just going to hold out for the PS4 version.
When we talk about dynamic damage on cars, GTAIV (and soon V) should be mentioned here. I realise its not a racing game, but if the damage cars experience in that game could be replicated to a racing game like Gran Turismo, it'd be pretty amazing. I think they nailed it pretty well in GTAIV.

Personally I don't see the fury over the 'too real' comment. Most people complaining about it are kids or 20 something's driving Astras and VW Polos. They don't actually drive any of the cars they claim sound so bad.
I'm not trying to brag but I own two of the games' better cars, and in the game they sound exactly as they do in real life inside the car.
People's perceptions are spoiled by TV commercials and movies where cars ...

I think that dev kits for PS3 have been floating around a while.
And if it does this is bad how? I'm not saying I'm anti-American, but games are art and free to make whatever statements they like. Just look at GTA, the entire thing is a parody of modern life in the USA, and its all the better for it.
Personally the statement art makes shouldn't prevent you from enjoying it, and you don't have to agree to like it.
Square actually published some of the best games this gen- Just Cause 2, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Tomb Raider and Sleeping Dogs just off the top of my head. I don't like to see them in trouble like this, hope they turn it around.

PS3 costs $299 RRP in the US. No $299 PC would play Shogun 2 on any settings above high, and most likely would only go to medium or even low. Have you played Shogun 2 on high settings? My computer only plays it on high as the max and current gen consoles look better, generally. Textures etc on high are all very low res, lots of pop in. PS3 has been $299 for 3 years or more now. A PC that cost $299 in March 2010 would struggle to run GTAIV on settings comparable to what consoles do at a playab...
I guess I'll find out for myself. My copy arrived yesterday. I can't wait to sit down and play it.
People are jumping at shadows here. This leak doesn't confirm it will be required to be always on and have some kind of DRM, but rather has that ability, just like the PS4.
So whats the story with the audio? I haven't seen this mentioned in other reviews.
I think a PS4 release is the most likely option from Sony. I've seen contradicting stories on GT Planet and elsewhere stating that its in development for the PS4.
Sony aren't (hopefully) stupid enough to release their biggest IP on their previous ten system right at the precipice of the release of their next-gen offering.
Im not going to bother with Watch Dogs on this gen. I'll wait for the PS4 version.
