Totally worth it. You'll gain XP before everybody else and own every single deathmatch when the game comes out next month lol
Agree on everything. Although I found that Mafia II was doing one thing really well: car handling. It is fun to drive, while not weird like in Saint Row 2 or way too boring like in GTA IV. I seriously hope they fix the driving mechanic for the next GTA, cause it wasn't realistic, it was just painfull.
I hope so. DC is missing something here, while Marvel is providing us with a lot of fun avatars. I never thought I would pay for one, but I bought Iron Man recently. I'm trying to convince my friends to buy Captain America and Thor, so that we could be the Avengers lol
Maria, you got it wrong. This is a sale article, you need to start a war. This is how it works here on N4G. Check this out.
If you are a xbox360 fanboy, read this:
Anyway it's all over with GT5, LBP2 and Move. And let's not forget the 199$ ps3. Boom!
If you are a ps3 fanboy, read the following:
With Reach and Kinect around the corner, it's over for last place console.
See? Now you got some heat lo...
The game took me more than 7 hours on my first walkthrough. And let's not forget the challenges room or the riddler's quests.
For me, the one feature I want for the sequel is some sort of coop gameplay. Probably like in Uncharted 2 (i.e: side missions where you can team up with Robin and Catwoman).
thanks. And no need for the attitude. What can I say? I can't follow all the news related to load times or the length of a particular race. And I wasn't even bitching at Modnation, I was just saying that a lot of people do. But thanks for "educating" me...
I don't want to be seen as a GT5 hater, but even at "only" 52 seconds, this still a long loading time. It's comparable to Modnation Racers and everybody is bitching about those load times.
About Kotaku, this is just a shame for them.
I personally like the title. It avoids the lame "Arkham 2" and yet, it makes clear this is a sequel to Arkham Asylum. Beside, given what we know about the game, the title seems completely appropriate.
Yeah no worry. I was actually against the first comment cause I could see it as a war-starter. See you.
It's lame cause it has NOTHING to do with the fact that the list doesn't change! If anything, it means, the 360 didn't have one good game in years. To test if what he's saying is right, we would need comparative date. Like number of players online in GTA IV on ps3.
All these games are really good and provide amazing online experience (I actually never tried Halo online but I'll probably buy Reach to test this). But his comment was just ridiculous. Sprry if...
OMG this is one of the lamest comment I've ever seen. And I'm not new to N4G!
Enjoy being first cause your comment will soon be hidden for trolling or something else.
@Chad:
I'm not a computer noob, so I know how to protect my computer against viruses or trojans. It's actually very easy! Come on dude, it's N4G, not News4CasualComputersUser, the argument about viruses will not work here to defend an overpriced Mac.
No World of goo?
Come on, they are not that bad. Given the task they have to do and all the potential missed sales (bundles, etc), I find they are usually close to the actual sales. They at least give you a good idea of how a game performed.
But maybe I'm just more forgiving than you guys lol
Edit: I'm not talking only for consoles, but for games as well. I know I know, they underestimate GTA IV by 1.5 mio probably. Anyway, this is kind of my point: if they could simp...
There is something I don't get. I don't hate VGchartz, I actually find them quite reliable most of the time. But I understand they can't be exactly accurate. However, why don't they update their information when Sony or Microsoft release their official sales? I mean, Sony recently announced having sold around 38 mio ps3, and yet, vgchartz still lists the ps3 at 36 mio! (I'm sure it's similar for the xbox, I'm not trying to start a fanboy war here, just a good conve...
@Elwenil: exactly, if you use two Move controllers, then it's either a on-rail shooter, or a game where the movements are controlled by the computer (like tennis table).
I really don't understand why sony did that. The only explanation I can find is to make the Move "look" cheaper: you can simply use the dualshock 3, so technically, you don't need to buy another Move or the Nav for any game. Still disappointing, I would love to have a really good motion ...
The sad thing is that even with two Move, the experience is limited. Because yes you have two motion controls, but NO nav controller, meaning: no analog stick to move your character.
I still think Sony made a mistake. They should have included a sphere on the nav controller. Then it would make sense.
I was in the top 50 on ps3, I even was ranked 2nd at some point (so close to #1... sad) and races were ultra competitive. I was playing every day, all the top 100 players knew each other.
My only problem was laggy takedown. Like on your screen you were in front of the car, but on your opponent's screen, you were behind! I remember, we had to apologize for every takedown.
I'm guessing people complaining about the open world didn't play BP much. I did and I understand you. The first couple of hours, especially online, I hated the game. I was so mad to lose because a geek had more time to explore the map. But you learned it very quickly and it was pure fun. FOr me, it's the opposite now. You give me a non-open world racing game and I find myself limited.
I was being sarcastic... I thought the "lol" at the end was a clear-enough indication. Of course it is not worth it, you just have to wait one month and you can buy it for 60$!
