Name them then! I'm sorry but for me, this generation, I see Japanese developpers are the guys stuck in the past: bad online modes, outdates controls (Resident Evil 5 for instance), etc. On top of that, they just don't listen or look at what the competition is doing. Just look at Final Fantasy or GT5 (not saying it is a bad game, but you have to admit that some of the choices made by PD just show they are stubborn and don't wan to adapt).
Let's just look at So...
The lack of trophy support for MGS4 is another sign of the stubborness of the Japanese developpers. They simply refuse to listen to what western people want. I'm always amazed by that. No wonder we don't see any Japanese games as a GOTY contender anymore.
I agree with both of you I wish the final fight was only versus the regular Joker, at least the beginning of the fights. But instead of that, we got a cheesy final boss.
Still an awesome game though.
No they don't! Get over it already. I've seen better trailers of upcoming 3DS games on IGN for instance (preview or even off-screen, or the stuff from the last E3). All those trailers are super lame and most of the time don't show anything about the actual games.
I guess you are impressed easily...
Seriously, I can't stand this spelling mistake:
it's: wouldn't HAVE gone, not OF gone. Sorry it's off topic but it is a really, really bad mistake if you ask me. And you made it twice.
Seriously? Those are the best trailers? Most of them were boring as hell! Like you want to see some Street Fighter footage but all you get is a guy walking in the street with a 3DS in his bag...
Glad you changed the title from "trailers you MUST see" to something a little bit less missleading. But you still made me lose 5 minutes of my life.
And the Wii is still at a ridiculous price of $199! Nintendo can easily increase the sales of the Wii by cutting the price to $149 for instance. They would still even make money on each console sold.
With that said, I think Patcher's analysis is not bad this time. MS managed to enter the casual market with Kinect, but nintendo failed to enter the hardcore one. Seriously, Nintendo could have simply released a Wii HD and it would have been great.
Yes I too have a hard time seeing how trophies hard less good than achievements. I actually prefer getting a gold trophy than simply "more" points.
Good to know, I was at the store today and I didn't buy the game for this reason: probably very few good levels to play right now.
So I decided to wait a little bit, maybe for a small price cut or something.
@Scottis: lol
But if you read (the title) carefully, it doesn't imply there was a first "mind blowing" wave. It only means that the 2nd wave will be.
Edit: sorry I replied to the wrong comment.
@Thereapersson: 20-points scale, so 1, 1.5, 2... up to 10. What the 20-points means is that you lose 1/20 every time (like passing from 10/10 to 9.5/10. No possibility of losing only 1/100 for instance.
Geez, was it that complicated?
No I love team-bases stuff, this is the reason why I play online most of the time. And yes you can quit, but it's rare. Anyway, people who quit are always on the losing team... lol
I stopped playing Uncharted 2 online because of quitters during my favorite mode (plunder). When it's only 5v5, if your team has one less player, it is really hard to score. That's too bad, I wish the penalty for quitting was way more.
So didn't GT5...
Yes I'm trolling, but you opened the door lol
Kudos to Kinect. I like it and having fun with my friends. That's all that matters.
OK explain the math: ps3 at 1.74 mio, xbox360 at 3.27 mio.
So the ps3 is equal to 53% of 360 sold. Or if we sum the two (5.01 mio), the ps3 represents 34.7% of this total. So how on earth do they arrive at 88%???
Btw, I'm not denying that the xbox is doing much better and I'm happy for this console. I think Sony will have no choice but to cut the price soon.
Edit: ok I see: difference is 1.53, representing 88% of the ps3 sold. Still s...
Well recording youtube isn't illegal. I mean, the artists put their songs on this site themselves!! It's legal to record tv or the radio, so I guess it's legal to record Youtube.
Well a couple of weeks ago, there were some rumours about the multiplayers, with a lot of details. It was sketchy cause the source was like a blog created just for this purpose, but at the same time, this blog has been forced to shut down because Rocksteady went to court. So my guess is that those details weren't too far from the truth. You can find those details by looking on google.
Basically, the guy was explaining that the multiplayer would be similar to free-roam in ...
OK I have a real question: how come some of the hacks can get Kinect to be so accurate as to detect fingers (like the piano), but we don't see that in actual games? Do they use the cpu of some PCs or it's simply a gameplay choice my MS (to make it more casual)?
Wow, you sure know how to use your one bubble to make useful comment... \s
On top of that, it is actually cheaper to buy Mass Effect 2 for the Xbox360 and the 3 DLCs included on the PS3 version ($20+around $20 for the DLCs). So yes, even though I prefer playing on my ps3, Mass Effect is a franchise I'll enjoy on the 360.
