Yes stick to dual analog stick, it makes waaaaayyyyyy more sense...
On top of that, for FPS, it's not really motion control, it's only a pointer. It's actually closer to the classic keyboard+mouse setup.
I actually much prefer the game after 1.05. I hated how many bullets you needed to kill someone. My only complaint with the new health is for objectives-based games, especially Plunder. It's is really difficult to carry the plunder more than 3 seconds. But other than that, I'm happy. Maybe it's because I didn't spend 100 hours in the beta and before 1.05, so I'm not pissed at the changes.
Well if you didn't enjoy the first, you will likely not enjoy the second one. They are very similar. I eprsonally fully enjoyed both.
Thanks for letting me know why I like a game. Until your enlightning comment, I thought I enjoyed Galaxy because it was a very fun game, well done in every way except the story (but it's mario, I actually like not having to care about that). But now I know that I actually enjoy the game only because 1. I can't tell a good game and 2. There is no competition.
Really, thanks.
Funny that you call us "ignorant gamers" because we actually enjoy an awesome game that you don't.
And if you consider the graphics of Sunshine the same as those in Galaxy, you are blind. Of course Galaxy is not HD, but it's a pretty looking game. Btw, I consider Mario Sunshine as the worst 3D Mario, the levels were uninspired and I never knew where to go next. Galaxy (1 and 2) is just perfect. Speaking of gimmick: a hose versus a new gravity system. Yes, yo...
When do you two get married? lol
@Darkride:
I don't know what's wrong with your Wiimote pointer, but mine is very accurate. Actually, I'm surprised. For me, if there is ONE improvement the Wii provided to videogames and that will likely last for more generation, this is exactly the pointer! The motion controls themselves add most of the time little to nothing. But having the pointer allows a lot more games and variety of games.
Anyway, everyone can have his opinion. I fully enjoy...
@Darkride:
Are you serious? You didn't like SMG because of the (almost non-existant) motion control? lol This is ridiculous. The motion controls in this game were very rare, and all of them were correctly implemented.
Too bad you are a gamer that can't live up with his time. If gamers in the 90's have been like you, I guess we wouldn't have rumble, dual analog stick or anything new. You can hate the Wii for Wii Sport (though I enjoyed Wii Spor...
Because having a perfect game is good, but you know what is even better? Bein able to play it! GT% is just ridiculous, gamers had to wait almost an entire generation before getting it. Sony should just force them to release the game and then update it via DLC (like for Nascar, etc)
@Wrathman:
You use your PS3 as a Blu-ray player only? I'm guessing you don't like quality games then. Too bad for you.
And btw, to answer your question, I'm sure only a small minority doesn't play with its ps3.
I know, I recently bought the Episodes and all I could think of was: man, driving is really a pain and even walking is so not smooth. Maybe I'm getting too used to smooth third person shooters such as Uncharted.
Yes because the lifestyle depicted in Lost of the Damned is soooooooo much better, right? I wish young people would get rid of the hip hop influence and become more like the bikers in this game.
As said above, you have the right to prefer the other GTA games, no need to lecture us about how we suck because we prefer to actually have fun while playing a GTA game.
Yes, this is exclusive... So were the episodic contents for GTA IV!
How many times did Rockstar deny a ps3 version?
What you're saying is simply impossible. It's like telling me: I was watching regular tv and it was in 3D. I've tried closing one eye while watchig a Real 3D and it was in 2D, as it should be. I sincerly think you were just tricked by convincing yourself it was in 3D or something.
And btw, my mom has the same problem as you, she only sees from one eye. The doctors have tried correcting her other eye but it doesn't seem to work. She's passing a lot of tests, included looking at 3D...
No it doesn't! I laughed really bad when reading your comment! If you close one eye, you see a net picture but in 2D. This is the whole principle of the glasses: each eye sees a slightly different picture and your brain mixes the two to form a 3D picture. Exactly like in real life.
I have no idea how you were able to think the picture was in 3D while closing one eye. But this is just impossible. Made me laugh so, as I've said.
I have to disagree, I like the update for health. I started playing again online after this update. Before it, your character was a bullet sponge. And the first guy to get the M4 was getting a huge advantage. While I agree that it's maybe a little bit too easy to kill someone now (especially when playing plunder), if you give me a choice, I would choose the new health bar.
I know! I thought N4G was full of geeks, but obviously it's not the case lol
because the screen of your computer is not 3D capable! Of course you won't see the pictures in 3D while watching a 2D footage of a 3D screen...
Anticipated by true gamers. You couldn't understand.
I'm actually disappointed, I would much rather have Burnout Paradise 2. But I'll wait and see.
