@Biggest: LOL
Well I thought that the point of having Move, a true 1:1 motion control with potential for core gamer, was to actually improve on the weak and casual Wii Sport. No?
And the argument that you don't hold a Nav in real life is kinda weak if you ask me. You don't hold a giant dildo with a light bulb either... Again, I think they should offer the option.
WTH? Why couldn't we use Move+Nav so that we could move our player? That makes no sense to see Sega not including this option. I'll be disapointed if it's really missing from the final version of the game.
@S.C: Dude, I specifically mentionned Splinter Cell Conviction as not having a so-called short campaign! Just to prove I wasn't a sony fanboy. Seriously, learn to read.
And look at my other comments, I prefer my ps3 but I'M not a fanboy. I often defend the 360.
We always see "proof" like this for any new AAA game. I must suck at videogames because every time I buy a game with a supposedly such short campaign, it always takes me longer to finish the game. Like GoW3 or Splinter Cell Conviction. And everytime, it ignores all the replay values (like challenge room/maps, co-op, etc).
Anyway, as you said, shooters are all about multiplayer now.
I think it depends if the game has an online component. If the game does, buying it day 1 is still worth it cause you'll find more people online, not get destroyed by people who played the game for 1 year, etc.
But for games like Mass Effect, I can definitely wait 6 months to 1 year. Hey, I did that for both games. Result? I got them both for $20 (each) one year after the release.
On-topic: I would call the ps3 the superior version if it was a little bit ...
@OneSneakyMofo: Dude, of course it has been fixed. There was a problem during the conference because of wireless interference, that's all. The game has always worked great. You can read the previews.
Here in Canada, you get GT5 for free with the purchase of any ps3. Let's face it, GT5 is not a system seller in North America.
Well still, ther eis no excuse for not provinding Vista support. Yes Vista mostly sucked but don't tell me if you would be so difficult for them.
Oh ok thanks, I'll have to sign up again I guess.
Well maybe it's restricted to customers in the States. I'm in Canada and I signed up 15 minutes ago, but I got Pac-Man instead of Angry Birds. Too bad.
@whitto:
What am I playing? Well after having fun with Kinect adventure (I really like catching the big red balls, it's really fun, especially with a friend), I usually play Kinect Sport, which is really well done (not all sport, I find bowling really dull).
And of course, I sometimes play Dance central.
I have a question: is the xbox360 completely hacked like the ps3? Cause it seems to me that now, the ps3 is way more open because of this masterkey. While on the 360, you need a mod to run bootleg games.
Sorry if my question is dumb, I don't hack or use hacked products.
I know, time-travel is a no-brainer for the second version. Surprised it's not included in the first actually!
@Raendom:
Because it's made by Apple and somehow, this compagny can convince enough r-tard to overpay for everything they make.
On topic: Sony needs to have a starting SKU at max $300. And even there, they will need to cut the price quickly, once the hardcore gamers already bought the console.
Let's just hope those games are real, not like the demo of GT PSP back in 2005... and then the game disapeared.
But if this is actually the launch line-up (or first year one), this is awesome.
I don't know, I see that as a hint that the multiplayer modes will be very free. Like you can play with the character you want, and you can team-up with whoever you want.
@Alpha: OMG, let's play on words now. Yayyyyyy.
So let's play dumb and treat this as only a GIANT hint (and ultimately prove). OK I'm in your game.
And yeah, let's imagine that this might maybe only be a freaking cut-scene! Like this videos looks like this. You're killing me guys. The moment where the Joker team-up with Batman, it's so obvious it isn't from a cut-scene in the game. But again, ok, let's play dumb together.
Seriously?? You don't think that this video all but confirms co-op in the game? Wow, I'm speechless.
It's like the ultimate prove if you ask me. The entire trailer has the only purpose to show co-op! Nothing else (not for the main game, but it at least confirms some kind of co-op modes)
On topic: I still hope for a RDR-free-roam-like multiplayer. Like in this video, you cans ee that you can decide to play co-op for a while but then, you can turn b...
I know, this game sucked. It was boring as hell. During some missions, I wanted to kill myself (the delivery of tha amno was the worst). Even the more action-oriented DLCs were bad. So glad I traded in this game after one week.
