Ace Combat HD Collection. AC5 Unsung War Puddle of Mud opening montage in HD = OMFGIDIE.
In other news, Vaseline sales have skyrocketed on Amazon as xbox 360 owners bend over and prepare to take a giant di...did I leave the stove on? BRB.
Well I can tell you right now having played the game and received a copy early from the Insomniac community event that ACiT is solid. R&C never really registered on my radar until a friend recommended ToD to me but that wasn't a problem when I sampled the game yesterday. Fans of the series seemed to enjoy it quite a bit at the event and I myself who is a relative n00b to the franchise found it easy to pick up and play despite only having limited contact with the series. Considering the...
Nevermind GTAIV, Midnight Club: LA gets no love. What's up with that? I have to say that after the Need for Speed franchise went downhill in recent years MCLA really stepped up to fill its shoes. Everyone quit whining about GTAIV and go grab yourself MCLA so we have something positive to talk about instead of complaining about the letdown that was GTAIV.
Agreed. But then again, whenever maDOUCHEa or one of his pals makes an attempt at journalism, they end up plagiarizing wikipedia. Quoting Amazon sales is actually a step up for these clowns.
What lower price tag? MW2 for PC got jacked up to the same $60 folks will pay for it on consoles.
HA!! I loled a bit. hahaha.
They'll probably complain about GT5 being "too linear" when it's released next year. "GT5 has the potential to be great, but players are hampered by the fact that you have to remain on the paved tarmac/track in order to extract the best lap times possible". "SCEA and PD messed up by not making Gran Turismo 5 open world". Or something equally as stupid and along those lines.
Regarding KZ2, I thought the story was very mediocre. It had the potential to be epic but IMO the only true "oh s**t" moment came
*SPOILERS*
at the end after Rico kills Visari and Sev looks up to see the makings of Killzone 3 flying overhead. What's odd is that the backstory behind the Killzone saga which you can find over at Playstation.com or Killzone.com is ridonkulously detailed and amazing and I so wish that they had incorporated some of it into the ...
You obviously haven't put much thought into what you're saying considering you end up answering your own questions and contradicting your earlier comments.
If 16 layer/400 GB Blu-ray discs were actually a feasible option as far as mass production for a video game, why would PD bother with releasing a product that's spread out over three discs. You said it yourself. The cost of producing a single 16 layer/400 GB disc at this point is probably far less economical versus produci...
PC gamers IMO are really the only ones willing and able enough to stand up to a developer's/publisher's BS agenda. Console gamers fold pretty easily IMO. A lot of this can be chalked up to the fact that PC gamers have been playing online twice, even three times as long as console gamers and as such have come to expect a certain level of mutual respect from developers/publishers whereas folks who are only getting online for the first time via their brand new PS3 or 360 have low expectations ...
Robert? Is that you?
GT2 had two discs fool. One was for Arcade Mode and the other was for Simulation Mode.
While GT5 could ship on one disc with two extra discs of bonus content I wouldn't rule out the possibility that the game will again be split in two GT2 style. One disc for Arcade/Online mode and the other for Simulation mode. At this point we simply don't know.
Anyone else think that there's a remote possibility that all of this is just a ploy to gain publicity or to get into the good graces of gamers considering how most of us feel towards Activision? I mean Activision has proven time and time again that they are evil, greedy and out to milk their franchises dry and I just can't bring myself to put it past them to pull a stunt like this to garner attention for themselves or for Infinity Ward. If IW/Activision does in fact change their stance on t...
This generation? While Most Wanted made it to the 360 and Carbon to both the 360 and the PS3, I wouldn't exactly refer to the "Underground Era" games as being from "this generation".
This list FAILs IMO. As someone else has already said, where is Burnout Paradise? Arguably one of the most fun arcade racers you can buy on either the PS3 or the xbox 360.
I also question the fact that neither Motorstorm nor its sequel Pacific Rift are anywhere...
Says the guy who couldn't even figure out how to post under my comment. You're one to talk.
maDOUCHEa and his pals at it again. There's an image right in front of their FACES that clearly spells out the name of the game yet they go on to call it Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2. FAIL.
I always laugh when people say the xbox controller is made for shooters. More like made for retards. Using the lower shoulder buttons/triggers as your aim and primary fire buttons means you have to shift your index fingers up and down between the triggers and the bumper buttons. We coordinated PS3 players who aren't retards can aim and shoot with the L1 and R1 buttons using our index fingers and toss nades and secondary fire with the L2 and R2 buttons using our middle fingers. I guess the...
@ sack_boi
Apparently you missed sarcasm's sarcasm. He was likening your saying "Because releasing a game with less features and charging full price for it is bull sh!t. " to the fact that ODST basically falls under this mantra as well being that it was an expansion released for full price. Something that we can all agree is also BS in addition to this whole no dedicated servers for MW2 on PC fiasco. I found it pretty funny.
