Wow they really improved the graphics. The textures on his clothes are much more detailed than from the first game.
And I must say that opening is much more epic than the original.
Wow!! I didn't realize how accurately they recreated the landmarks.
Finally getting the game this weekend
Can! Not! Wait!
venom and flash would be awesome
What didn't Warhammer create the original "Space Marine" character type? So isn't GoW ripping off Warhammer?
I think they're just talking about updating the controls.
Using L3 to throw objects, no cover system, poor aiming, weak melee. I LOVED Blood Money, but the controls did take time to adjust to.
A cover system (being about to hide by putting your back to the wall...so useful), better shooting, more lethal melee: all things that would improve the Hitman series.
Plus adapting AI sounds so good.
I don't get an sens...
This is hilarious
Like TuxAssassin pointed out, how can they blame something on a game that didn't even exist yet?
Hell, I don't even think CoD4 was out in 05.
Idiots
what did you expect in a detective game based around finding clues and interrogations, not action set-pieces?
It would be very hard to make the process of solving cases not repetive.
And when you think about it, every game is repetive. All you do in a FPS is shoot. All you do in racing games is drive. It's the setting, the story, the atmosphere that gives a sense of variety and progress.
And LA Noire exceeds in all three
Info was first shown at E3 09 but development was first confirmed by Sony & Rockstar in 2007
Well LA Noire was in development for 7 years.
Agent was announced in '07. So at the most, the game will be out by 2014.
I'd rather have the game come out sooner than later. The more time to iron out bugs and smooth everything out, the better.
After experiencing LA Noire, I can't wait to see what Rockstar has in store for us with Agent
here we go...LA Noire...really...ugh
That's not what I mean.
Like I hate when a game is announced and people say, "Oh it's just another generic TPS or FPS" or "It's just like Gears of War, etc. except.."
So what? Not every game has to bring something new to the table. For example if a game has a cover system, the first thing it's compared to is Gears of War (usually). If it doesn't (like Just Cause 2), the omission is critized.
A gam...
I've said it before and I'll say it again...
NOT EVERY GAME HAS TO BE "NEW" OR INNOVATIVE!!!
Fun should come first.
Now I don't care about multiplayer, but this campaign looks fun and awesome. That's what counts
Who cares about story? (Unless it's LA Noire or Mass Effect, etc..)
Can't we all just appreciate epic setpieces?
CoD4, MW2, and BLOPS had really cool campaigns (I never play multiplayer). Can't wait for MW3.
Dull?
You're shooting guys in the head while slashing limbs off and ripping spines out! How is that dull?
Not every game has to be the "next Call of Duty" or have multiplayer or be innovative. Games can just be fun and make you feel like a powerful badass
Confused about something
Infamous, Dead Nation, and Killzone PSP are both starred.
In the footnotes, it says, "30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PS Plus subscribers"
So can you only have those games for 30 days?
Simple question for those who already have the game:
I know this isn't GTA but can you "go postal?" Shoot random people, ram people off the road, etc.? Something besides random radio calls?
Third one is probably the most appropriate
But I really like the first. Has a great sense of motion and action with the off kilter title and 47 looking really badass with his dual silenced pistols ready
About Raven Software
Singularity was an awesome game. Cool weapons and powers, interesting levels, great feeling of "badassery". I really wish they were making the single player.
Dude so much better
Hitman was the father of AC's "social stealth"
Every level is a sandbox filled with civilians, guards, cameras, cops, and somewhere your target/targets
There are so many ways to complete your mission: go in guns blazing, wear a disguise and shoot your mark in the head while you're alone, snipe him from a distance, posion his food, make it look an accident...
And nothing can beat t...
wow. this games sounds awesome and way more open than I expected. I though it was just mission after mission, didn't know you could explore and interact with NPCs. Love the multi-layered side quests
Getting Crysis 2 (only one game this summer..ugh) but this is my number one game for Christmas
