I read in some other previews that Joel's response may imply that he lost a teenage daughter, thus his strong protective relationship with Ellie.
When she asks him who dragged him to see the dumb teen flick, he brushes her off, avoiding the question and saying they have to keep moving.
@sp3ctr3
By scripted, they mean that certain moments had to happen at specific times, like when the guy attacks Joel with the wood plank and chokes you
This sounds so awesome.
AC3 and Hitman, followed closely by Dishonored, are my most anticpated of 2012
Love this one:
"The most creative option I heard that afternoon involved throwing some flammable liquid into a wok as the target walked by a food vendor; both the cook and the King went up like Roman candles."
None of the other previews I've read mention this.
wow
wow. Wow. Just...WOW
Best game of E3 and now my most anticpated game of 2012/2013. And I thought Hitman Absolution and Assassin's Creed 3 was impressive. Never have I been more impressed with 7 minutes of gameplay.
The mature dark tone was refreshing and the combat, oh that combat...so intense and brutal and visceral. I love the fact that-
1) your health doesnt regenerate, adding urgency to damage and confrontation
2) ammo was severly lacking, not a sho...
Wait? Is the trailer going to be shown during the marathon or on GTTV online? And is it premiering tonight or a later date?
Most annoying bug is the audio cutting out during cutscenes...and this is one of the few games I'm actually playing for the story.
Also I noticed a bug where I attempt to skip a video and the game freezes and I have to restart my console. Anyone else encounter this?
This sounds like my dream zombie game. I dont play PC games (just too expensive to build a competent gaming rig, and I'm not much of a tech guy) but this is the type of game that would change my mind.
Is it a pipe dream to hope that, with the game/mod's sudden and huge popularity, they'd make a retail version of DayZ only...for consoles maybe?
I absolutely disagree. How can you say a company has reached its peak when it's still developing games? That's like saying the same thing for a director or musician; experience and maturity can do wonders to one's product.
Anyway I believe Rockstar is doing just fine. I'm one of those people who will buy a game with no prior knowledge because their logo is on the box.
I loved GTA 4 (I always prefer realism and it was my first PS3 game) and I l...
In your opinion
Are you kidding me? I hate when people do this. We get a few tidbits of info on the story, some trailer-edited gameplay, and people think they know everything about a game and exactly how it will be.
Why don't we wait for some more trailers, some actual gameplay, more information about the story, before making snap judgements?
And remember, it's been proven in the games that George Washington and several other major historical figures of this time...
I dont have a Facebook or Twitter page (I know, shocking, a teenager without a social network) so can anyone give me the details?
Mainly, when the deadline is so I know when the full trailer will be released
Yes, yes, YES!!!
This sounds better than I ever imagined. Red Dead Redemption, AC-style (and with stealth, one thing I felt RDR lacked) and climbable treesm in one of my favorite time periods.
And I live in upstate New York, so it going to be super awesome to actually visit places I've been to (like Saratoga). Finally a location that have an actual connection to!
I CAN NOT WAIT
Oh and has anyone seen this interesting possible hint?
Also from twitter, a response by Spark:
"Publisher hasn't stated when or where the announcement will take place. The time and place could be close or far far away."
'Far far away'? If that's not a Star Wars reference...
That line about a "3rd person multiplayer action advenure" in a "high profile science fiction franchise" sounds very very promising.
I'm not the biggest fan but I really enjoyed Battlefront 2. And I can just imagine what they could do with the power of our current consoles.
Personally I'd love to see a game set fully during the battle of Stalingrad. I had to do a term paper on it and I was just fasinated by the conflict.
Germans vs Russians. Both sides unable to back down. The Germans start out as the aggressors, leveling the city but as winter sets, the Russians surround the city, trap the Germans inside, and a brutal multi-year siege begins that costs over a millions lives.
Ideally you'd play as a German (how's...
I personally think it looks awesome. We get horror, RE4-style gameplay with Leon, more action gameplay with Chris, and whatever type of gameplay that is with the new guy.
Yet another game to get in 2012
