I usually don't blame publishers but I can't believe EA forced Visceral to ruin one of my favorite game series!
Budgets cuts, forcing them to make it more "accessible", changing the ammo system for micro-transactions....

RIP Dead Space :(

So you can't care less for a game that you haven't seen one offical screenshot, no gameplay, and no details that aren't rumors?

As my dad always says: past performance is no guarantee of future results. Who knows, maybe the jump to next gen alllowed Ubisoft to make the AC they envisioned from the start and can evolve the series thanks to new tech...

And remember people want launch titles from franchises that can trusted in terms of quality. A new IP is an untested product

Brand recognition, known series, are what sells systems at launch, alongside new exclusive IPs

WW2 London? Could be cool, but the setting doesn't seem to have any definite enemies. London never got invaded or anything like that

Personally, I would prefer 1800s London.

Publishers force tutorials? Interesting and disturbing

Wait, why are people complaining? Isn't the consensus that having a second player ruins the atmosphere or something?

if it's coming to PC, any chance of a PS3 version?

And one of these things is not like the other, one of these things just doesn't belong...

No, but seriously this is just ridiculous. One, the fact that millions play video games, violent video games, and don't go on killing sprees should be proof that this connection is minute and coincidental at best

And two, numerous studies have showed that there is no connection between aggression and video gaming

Can someone explain to me this rationale that adding multiplayer ruins a game? Because everything I've seen suggests that the Tomb Raider campaign is going to be expansive and well-developed and not short changed at all

If multiplayer bothers you, don't play it. Enjoy the singleplayer

And that's not just for Tomb Raider. It goes for any game, can someone explain this?

Hasn't been much info released about single player
Once more gameplay and story details are out, I imagine that the hype and interest will rise

Well written and totally true

That whole NRA reaction was just insulting to the game industry and to this current generation, my generation.

To say we get fantasize "about killing people as a way to get your kicks" is just insulting and ignorant about the entire video game industry, about gamers, and about the progress the industry has made over the years

I'm so sick and tired of the media and politicians looking for some scapeg...

Anyone read it?
What a stupid title, the article is actually against using games and other media as scapegoats

Where's the controversy? Any links to people calling this box art controversial cause I would love to read it for a good laugh

Seriously? I think people are just saying anthing to be part of this recent trend of "contorversial box art".

Actually I like it. No focus on the heroes or anything like that, just a bloody zombie rising from the water. Pure and simple

Such a fun game
Incredible atmosphere
Highly recommended

Anyone know when this info will release?
It can't just be the box art and pre order info, right?

The voice acting is so good. I love the scene in the trailer with Joel and Tess, the delivery is so intense. If this was a movie, I'd want to see it opening day...but it's even better than a movie since we get to immerse ourselves in the experience

I seriously can not wait. I'm more hyped for this than GTA V and I never thought any game could make me say that

Love the box art, although I prefer the minimalist style of the placeholder art.
Torn between preordering this or GTA V, neither R* or ND has let me down before and I'm only getting one 60 dollar game in the 2013 first half

Though leaning more towards TLoU. I love GTA but I love the zombie genre and the gritty bleak post-apocalyptic genre even more. That VGA trailer hints at such a well acted, mature, bleak story and I'd take that over GTA any day

Are you kidding me?
Does this sound like a quote from a 5.5 review to you?

"Everything that Far Cry 3’s single-player campaign does well, from the large open world to the emergent gameplay, was done just as well in Far Cry 2. Far Cry 3 recreates why people loved to play Far Cry 2, and you’ll no doubt read many permadeath diaries and tense dispatches from breathless correspondents who parachuted off a waterfall before killing fifteen guys with a bow and punching a...

Yeah, that's pretty sloppy but I've seen stupider stuff in movies. And Vaas is so well acted that this may one of the few sandbox games where I actually finish the story, just for that character
