I loved Infamous for the story, but Prototype was the best most fun stress reliever ever.
Nothing matches the joy of sprinting full speed down the street, jumping across the city, ripping people in half, and elbow dropping tanks from the empire state building.
IMO fun should always come before graphics or story and Prototype is still my favorite "mindless fun" game. Except for maybe Arkham Asylum, no other games ...

About these two free PS3 games: Will we be able to keep them once the 30 days are up?
Or will it be like the psn+ free trial (you only have the content for those days and then you'd have to pay to keep it afterwards)?

I always hate when peoplse just say "Oh, that game is generic. Not interested." Not every game has to be innovative or reinvent the wheel. It doesn't even need a good story.
If it's fun (and that's all that matters) then I'd play it and be interested.
Gotta say this game looks really really fun. And it's an open world, always a plus for me...

Kind of scary. Sounds almost like a movie.
Group of hackers want revenge on super-corporation that wronged them. Begin simple but then escalates to more personal attacks. Soon the FBI is brought to track them down...dun dun dun
Watch. Once this is all set and done, someone's going to make a movie or something.
It sucks. I wanted to download the Socom 4 Beta, play DS online, and watch a movie on Nerflix...but I can't. This sucks.
I'd like a good story, but gameplay always comes first. Would anyone really care about a good story if the actual game was horrible?
Look at Demon's Souls. Not much story (well more subtle storytelling) but the gameplay is perfect. Look at Just Cause 2 or Red Faction Guerrilla, etc. Fun gameplay, not much story.

I hope the game is good. I really do. Because if they can accomplish everything they've said or hinted at, this will literally be my dream game come true. This is the zombie game I have always wanted and never got.
I know they're making a downloadable version and a disc version. I really hope this game lives up to what they're promising. I'm salivating already...

Why penalize gamers who buy used game? How is that even fair to us? I almost always buy used games because I don't always have 60 dollars to pay for a new game. And I like to wait for bugs and glitches to be ironed out

No way! I heard about the downloadable version, but didn't know about the disk version. Sounds like the game I always wanted. Totally makes up for the fact that The Walking Dead game is going to be a downloadable adventure game (UGH)

I agree with the author. I bet choices are hard to program into a game, but until they have a real impact on the game world and story...
Personally my dream game would be a open-world zombie game a la The Walking Dead. Your only goal is to survive. How you do that is totally up to you.
Go alone or join a survivor group? Make your own group or off the leader and take control another group? Be a selfish looter, a leader, a psycho who betrays and kills everyone he me...

So true. No other game does "social stealth" like Hitman.
I've only played Blood Money but it made me an instant fan. I hope they do a HD rerelease package. Would buy it just to replay those opera, hotel, and New Orleans levels again
Needs better melee, a cover system/cover grabs, and better aiming (Over the shoulder, IMO)

For CV, does remaster mean adding RE4/5 style controls? Cause, as having never played early 90s games, I could never adjust to those old-school tank controls...

And on Master Chief, he'd fit right in. Plasma grenades for ranged attacks, energy sword for a weapon, Needler to the stomach during an X-Ray. Doesn't MK already have like two cyborgs, a guy with robotic arms, and a gun-wielding cop. Master Chief could work but I'd prefer Marcus Fenix, Bayonetta, Frank West, or Ninja Gaiden's Ryu

I'd rather not hype up a game and just enjoy it for whatever it is.
Remember they're two different types of games. One's a linear military shooter that's all about set-pieces and multiplayer.
The other's a sci-fi semi-sandbox that gives you various options and has a story written by one of my favorite authors
OMG. Looks awesome. Never really a fan of MK but daammmnn this looks like fun. I'd pay 60 bucks right now for those epic X-Ray moves. Those look even more sick than the fatalities
