Ok, I typed it into google translator:
Here's the rough translation

GUARANTEED CHILLS!
The editor of the magazine has managed to emerge from the earth The legend of horror. A title that can wake the dead and the living to shudder with pleasure, here is what awaits you next month...

Yeah, that's Resident Evil all right

Is anyone able to translate?

I totally agree with this article. This is why I always get annoyed with people who complain that games are too short. I'd rather play something like Vanquish or MW 2 - six to eight hours of awesome set-pieces and nonstop "good parts" than slog through a 15,20,40 hour game fighting grunts and waiting for the next "good part"

Of course some games are exceptions: Fallout 3, the upcoming Deus Ex, a good slower-paced stealth game. I don't always have...

As long as the campaign is longer, I'm fine. I'm not a multiplayer person; I only get CoD for the SP. Loved MW2 campaign way more than BO so I can't wait to see it

More games need split-screen. I don't prefer online but regular old splitscreen is always welcome. know it's probably hard on the console's harddrives, but imagine GTA 4 or Red Faction Guerilla or Just Cause 2 with split-screen!

I was suprised and disappointed that the botzone mode in the KZ3 open beta didn't have splitscreen.

Yes, of course.
I'm biased though because I almost never play MP.

IMO, a good lenghty satisfying campaign beats online MP any day.

Go Rocksteady for supporting single-player only games!

And don't forget, besides the old RE games, there hasn't been a real zombie game. You know, one that captures the dread, emotions, and intensity of trying to survive against zombies. If the actual game is as good as this trailer...then this could be it. Dead Rising doesn't count.

Here's two links if anyone's interested:

Same here.
But I'll wait a few months because of all the bugs/glitches. (Hey I waited 2 years for Fallout 3)

4 questions:
1. Better on PS3 or 360? I have a PS3 and I'm getting a 360 in June (b-day)

2. Currently, how's the bugs/glitches situation? Fixed, varies, or bad as ever?

3. Has the regular shooting and third-person been fixed? I really only play in third person

4. How open ended is ...

Don't know if anyone said this yet but I'm calling it....

STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT 3

We all know Lucasarts loves to announce their games with epic, beautifully rendered cinematic trailers.

So who's with me!!

I'm not against multiplayer but I've been more of a solo player. I've been playing games since I was 8 and I got my PS1. And the last ten years have seen a decline in both single-player only games and my old favorite modes: splitscreen and bots.

So I'm very happy AC is SP only. I think it was Activison that said games need online multiplayer to be well received...um no! Give us a lengthy camapaign with awesome moments, fun gameplay, and an intriuguing story ...

Guess we know where AC 3 takes place!

Anyway, this looks awesome. I used to hate RPGS, but Fallout 3 and Demon's Souls changed that. The combat sounds awesome, the graphic look amazing, and any game with good stealth is a winner in my books (aka I love stealth games)

Can't wait for gameplay

Ugh...so many awesome games, so little cash and time (especially for a 18-year old in college)

I'm probably only getting two, maybe three games this year and I got to wait for June (my b-day). TOO many choices: this, Batman, Bulletstorm, Deus Ex, LA Noire...plus older games like Crackdown 2, Metro 2033, Undead Nightmare, Vanquish...

Just look at that list of choices! Any suggestions would be nice.
But damn if this isn't one of the most ep...

So let's see...
Standard energy blast
Mini gun (WTF?)
Some kind of multi-target power blast

If the actual gameplay is anything like this, these are the most unimaginative Green Lanterns ever.

Anyway, eh...I'll wait for gameplay...maybe.

Yeah, but Activision's only the publisher.
The company that made the suprisingly awesome War for Cybertron is developing the actual game.

At least that's what I read on other sites.
We'll see...we'll see

WTF, Activision?
"Wasn't good enough?" Granted it wasn't going to outdo GTA, but it looked awesome. I was excited about this game and it's cancelled because it wasn't "good enough?"

WTF

Nice. I didn't notice the "O to finish". Melee definitely looks better than RDR.

Also, I noticed that it said "Hold R2 and use Left stick to run" No more tapping x like crazy!

I just hope you can shoot while driving, but I bet that won't fit with the realistic tone.

Dude, I paused the video at the gameplay parts. The NPC faces looks great. Pause at 0:14. That's the best one. Don't worry.

5459d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

Incredible.
From the video, it looks like this game sets the bar for open-world graphics. The shootouts looks intense, the car chases looks fast and thrilling, the faces are truly amazing, and the varied gameplay looks awesome.

Day one for me.

From what I've read, there are no "side-missions" like GTA. It's more like RDR: random. Like you'll be driving in your car and get a call on your radio about a bank heist or police chase. You decide if you want to assist or not.

I think people should compare this to Mafia 2 instead. A story-driven game set in a open world open to exploration. A game like this or Mafia, it's serious; I don't expect to go on GTA-style rampages. I play it to enjoy...
