Great response.
Personally, I loved Onechanbara Z2: Chaos. It was a bit repetitive, but fun.
I enjoyed Lollipop Chainsaw enough to import the "Valentine Edition" from Japan to Canada.
The half-naked Quiet trying to distract you on the ACC in The Phantom Pain is a hell of a lot more provocative than anything in those two games... and that's a GOOD thing in an M rated game.
I think that anyone who would "judge ...
I'm almost 50 and I've been playing video games pretty much non-stop since their inception. I play most genres, but especially 1st and 3rd person shooters, horror, action rpg... as long as there's a decent narrative.
I can't stand most MP -but that has very little to do with the games themselves.
Not sure I appreciate them lumping hardcore gamers in their 50s with the 100 year-old in the picture who's just learning how to play solitaire on her crt monitor...
Because they're not trying to weasel another quarter out of your pocket every 3 minutes any more.
Perhaps after you've finished your grade school education.
I absolutely agree. I grew up in arcades and on the very first consoles (we actually had a box that played one single stupid game, Pong).
I have tried many times to go back and play old games and I just can't do it; it's headache inducing most of the time. I can go as far back as the PS1, but only for a few games... Silent Hill, Parasite Eve, MediEvil.
I tried very recently to play to play one of my favourites, Syphon Filter, but it was nowhere near as enjoyable as I...
$20? What planet do you live on? With tax it was $50 here in Canada (for 1 game and a download code). Yes, I feel totally ripped off. On PSN it's $40.
Also, GEOBROS, the review gives it 5/10 not the 5/5 showing on the front page or the 10.0 displaying on this page.
Laziness. It's easier and cheaper to just call it retro than to put some effort into artistic style. There are way too many (indie) devs pumping out crap that looks like grade school projects.
Games back then looked that shitty because of the ridiculously limited hardware and I'm so glad of the progress we've made.
It's an instant turn-off seeing it today and I would never give a dime to a dev who can't give a dime to an artist.
Works for me... IS working for me...
My personal favourite has been Silent Hill 4's "Room Of Angel" since I first heard it..
Too late for me. Burned again...never buy day one damnit! Lesson learned (...again).
They published Metro:Redux. 2 games, 1 disc.
edit: A disagree? That's funny. What part of that statement is not a fact?
F*ck, I just bought it and I definitely would NOT have if I had known.
It would have been considerably cheaper if I had bought the digital downloads from PSN but I paid the extra cash for a f*cking hard copy - not some f*cking download codes.
These f*cking Deep Silver douchebags have just hit my boycott list.
I hope it was worth the cash grab, because that's it.
Actually, I'd bet most of those dumbass sheeple that jumped into that pile-on WILL end up buying it anyway. Many of them in secret, so they can pretend to be standing by some misguided principle in front of all their friends who are also secretly buying.
"squad based cover shooter" for you. It was sold on it's single player as well.
???
Plenty to say, lots of sincerity and effort lost by posting in the wrong spot. It's kind of sad.
You just copy/pasted that list... from my brain.
As a hetero male, I must admit that, at best, the very notion of lgbt anything is inherently comedic to me...
however, just like the women's rights movement and the black rights movements (both no-brainers), equality and inclusiveness for EVERYONE... IS progress.
If you are not *something else* or if you cannot relate to or even wrap your brain around *something else*, it doesn't make you more entitled, significant, valued, righteous or any better in ANY way.
