If they sold them separately, I'd pick them both up... as well as BF1. I've purchased and played every BF (except the multiplayer only games) and every CoD and they've all been fun. The rivalry is idiotic.
You should really give Black Ops III a go. Playing it right now and it's become my favourite CoD.
Thanks for the follow up. I had investigated the Wii U extensively looking for reasons to buy it and the only other console exclusive game besides Bayonetta 2 that interested me was Fatal Frame: Maiden Of Black Water. The last Nintendo system I bought was the GameCube and ended up only buying 3 games for it over the entire course of it's lifetime. It's guess it's just not my type of gaming.
Congrats to Platinum from myself as well. I'm not a Nintendo fan but a Bayonetta fan. Played it first on the 360 and then bought it again for the PS3. I am holding out hope that somehow, some day Bayonetta 2 will find it's way to the PS4. I can't buy a console to play a single game.
For many years I've been one of the gaming industry's favourite kinds of consumer -a day-one buyer, looking forward to popping in the game stores every Tuesday, but since they hit the $80 mark here in Canada, I ONLY buy them used. That is the industry screwing themselves afaic.
I keep an eye out for deep discounts (I won't buy digital games that are available on disc), but right now the guys who own the couple of local independent shops in my neighbourhood are the ONLY pe...
What a bunch of d-bags. Disappointing.
@Dirtnapstor
Every single question read a bit uppity to me. Every question was a grasp at a potential controversy -especially the "nork" question.
Wow. That's the dumbest thing I've read on the internet this month. Somebody really needs to be fired for coming up with an idea that idiotic.
I just hope that we get to explore the city Nate was destroying with the Jeep in that fantastic E3 2015 demo. So much to see.
Skip to 13:40. This fellow needs a video editing program.
You're not alone Theparanerds.
It's nothing but more social crap yet again. I couldn't give a sh*t about any of it it either.
How about some BASIC deletion capabilities. Two years in and I STILL can't delete the crap from my library? That's just stupid.
Sceptical? No, just not interested. I don't pay for demos or unfinished games and I certainly don't care to wait for months or years even between chapters of anything in any medium. I'll buy it when it's a full release thanks.
Well here's hoping that it doesn't make you barf cookies. Sometimes I feel nauseous just playing regular FPS games, especially with older engines. I'll definitely be trying for long while before I buy.
I bought the $99 digital download when it came out and I played through the stupid campaign. I was pretty pissed that the ridiculous "story" was a lie and for being told by completely unexplained characters with zero development, that even THEY couldn't even be bothered to elaborate on ANY of the f*cking story:
-The Speaker: "I COULD tell you..." blah blah blah not actually telling me anything...so what the f*ck is the big orb over the city anyway? I still don&...
Bad analogy. You're suggesting something tantamount to criminal behaviour. This is more akin to the clerk pricing or advertising something incorrectly. In a shop, they would have to honour the incorrect price.
I agree. Gaming has been a primary focus over the course of my entire long life but I never play on a hard difficulty. Always normal or easy because I hate doing the same thing over and over again. I don't get that rush of endorphins from achieving something that took 20 attempts -I just get pissed off at the game/devs for wasting my time. (Trying different routes or tactics in a firefight or a stealth game is different though and I wouldn't consider that repetition.)
No, games are not better played with friends.
I play games for escapism, to fully invest myself in the world of whatever I'm playing. Nothing pulls you out of that immersion like the interference of other people -even family or friends.
Gaming seems to turn some normally sane, civilized people into aggro idiots that ruin any multiplayer experience. I couldn't give a sh*t about competition (maybe that's a personal defect?). I play both Destiny and The Division solo ...
I'll pick it up, but only if they've fixed some of the ridiculously difficult gameplay. I hate doing the same thing over and over and over... There was one spot -I imagine about halfway through the game- that I tried more than 60 times before I said "f*ck it and f*ck this game" before rage quitting and walking away for good. That has only happened a couple of times in my decades of gaming.
Too bad, because it's a gorgeous game, especially for a side-scroller.
My jaw dropped when I saw this. Instant purchase.
You're kidding right? What's the difference? Semantics? Different interpretations of the words?
