First of all, the game is 1080p. Native, as in it is designed in 1080p. As in, can be played in 1080p, which I was doing earlier.
Second, you are clearly a small child.
Third, reviewers are being very "strict" on gt5, grading it fairly, well most are. I'd give the game a 8.5 or 9. Its not like they usually do for some reason, giving games like Black Ops 10's and Fallout 9's. Or for that matter saying Forza 3 is better than GT5 when ...
Okay, lets compare a game thats 1080p native with probably the most realistic car physics engine, etc.. to a game that is what, 720p native? Does anyone have any clue what that difference in resolution does to a system? Talking about RAM mainly.
Of course its easier to get a game thats not 1080p native to 60fps constant. Might as well be doing GT5 and PacMan Frame Rate analysis.
But anyways, I still enjoy the game, and if anything I'll wait for a Digit...
Well said, if you like it you like it, if not don't get it.
I personally have it and like it, already got over $80 in content and games that I've used. My bro has a PSP so he gets the PSP content, thats 2 happy people. Not to mention the Betas I've gotten into and the Dead Nation Discount coming up (YES).
But not everyone wants this kind of stuff, and I'm being serious. But those people shouldn't put down Plus like MandatoryInstall does...
I completely agree Karl
If other games can get a 10 out of 10 and be buggy, glitch filled, and have worse graphics, and shorter story mode than GT5 then why can GT5 get a perfect score?
The game isn't perfect, but it def deserves what other non perfect games have been getting. S***, it almost seems like this is the first game in a while reviewers are looking at fairly, giving it 8 and 9. Where is Black Ops's score of 7? or Fallouts score of 5? Seei...
I just got the game today. And honestly I'd give it a 9 or maybe even 8.5.
Its a great game, but loading times are ridiculous sometimes. And I did the install, so why should it take 2 mins to exit from the used car garage back to the main menu? It shouldn't. Also the shadows are heavily aliased and there is some noticeable pop in.
Other than that the game is perfect. Yea it doesn't have the same "edge of you seat action" that Shift ...
And you didn't read the article?
Wow, 20 being built internally. Now thats a nice number.
How many exclusives next year? Take 20 minus that, and you got your self some potential game announcements from now until TGS.
seeing as how you replied to my comment I assume thats aimed at me.
I was not trying to say they are the same, because in reality Kinect is just as different from the EyeToy as Move is from the Wii.
Just one works better for me right now.
haha, I apologize, I meant exactly what you said.
Guess I just worded it weirdly.
It looks better for some pictures, others have more aliasing in the 360 version. Also one picture was missing some lighting for the 360 version.
Also why is the PS3 version always brighter in lens of truth? Do they have Super White on? Or is it something else.
I personally like the PS3 version better, but they both look very close to each other.
I'll be honest, even thought it has been done before, the idea of controller free gaming, MS have taken a bolder step. Or should I say bigger risk. Since a depth sensor hasn't been used yet for 3D tracking in games.
I actually played Kinect recently, and I have to say its not terrible when playing games. But for me Move still performs better, like its intended to. I just wish MS would have upped the input speed of Kinect, from 30FPS to maybe 60FPS. The lag is jus...
I feel that Sony should have pushed more that the game is a simulator. Then you an others wouldn't be surprised when the game played bad at first but then got better.
I sort of had the expectation it was like tekken. You jump in a fight with stats already set. I had no clue you had to build up your stats. Which for me I think is better. Any game that allows building up stats over time is better than ones that don't IMO.
Me either, but the fanboys always approve the articles saying "Black Ops sold 2 times more than Xbox" and link NPD data, which is US only, where the install base is twice as much as PS3.
There are obvious reasons these games sell more better. But fanboys feed on this stuff.
You keep anything bought on discount, any avatars, themes, dlc.
The only thing you don't keep is the free games.
I agree, the only thing I can think of is the guy that did the install was downloading something in the background. I noticed when you are installing a game and have something downloading at the same time it takes longer to install.
The install, is OPTIONAL, please read the article CREESH.
They are not lazy, they are pushing more than Killzone and Uncharted right now since the game is 1080p native. They are the exact opposite of lazy.
And I still enjoy Killzone and Uncharted by the way haha.
Yes crsadernm its a spin,
But regardless MS does the same thing. Neither should be called out for it anymore than the other.
NOT MANDATORY, the title is obviously trying to lead people on. It is completely OPTIONAL
Your reading too much into it. All they are saying is that they sold more software than the prior month. And that they are the only console to do that.
Its not a huge deal, and theres no reason to try to make Sony look like the bad guys, as if MS and Nintendo don't talk numbers like this as well. By that I mean saying things that look awesome at face value, but are in reality just a spin on words.
Grenadan, you first. that number at the end 1080, means the game is 1080. Okay. Only fanboys will argue its 1280 x1080 isn't 1080, but it still is 1080.
Rude. You second. I am not a sony fanboy. I actually quite like the Xbox to an extent. And I have my reservations about GT5, which is why I give it a 8.5 or 9. You are clearly a xbot that has been waiting for bad review scores, which GUESS WHAT!!, still don't take away from the fact that GT5 is a great game. ...
