Thank you, as a player of both I can say that this was the worst year for Xbox 360, besides Kinect if you really like that kind of thing.
And 2011 does not look any better for that matter. All the games besides Kingdoms seem to be Kinect titles. Unless there is another big game in the Fall announced at E3, it looks like 2011 is a Kinect year, not Xbox 360 year.
Your sir must be one of those 2 disagrees. If you read my comment I say that those sales figures are good numbers. I never bashed MS.
I am just surprised that no tech gadget according to this source has ever sold that fast.
Your one bubble is what happens when Fanboys, regardless of system of choice, blindly follow a company like a sheep.
Sony releases the same stuff MS does. End of story. Just because Sony admits what they count as sales, which by the was is completely legitimate to report sold to retailers when you are a manufacturer, doesn't mean MS doesn't do the same thing
On a second note, if retailers are demanding those units, they are being sold. SO if Move did not sell 4.1 million when the numbers were released, I'm sure it has now, since there is demand for that product.
lol, I don't know man, in my eyes anything electronic and i suppose related to media could be considered a gadget. Obviously we aren't going to say a microwave is a gadget in the same sense an phone, console, peripheral, or GPS is a gadget.
The sales figures are great, but what defines a Gadget?
I am sure the iPhone sold better than the iPad. Could be wrong of course. But it just seems odd that no piece of technology sold more than 2.5 million in 25 days.
Again, I'm probably wrong, its just those stats confuse me.
I believe the title should be flipped, Microsoft battles Sony, Seeing as how playstation rewards was available first.
I know its only exclusive to plus members now, but was still available first.
Oh I'm not saying there isn't room for improvement, I'm all for improvement. But from your comment it seemed like you were saying their roads are bad. And they definitely are not bad.
I agree the trees are blah, but the roads in GT5? They look fine to me when playing.
Haven't zoomed in on them yet personally, but don't see why I would if they look fine while I'm actually racing.
Ferrari's in my experience in GT5 are a little easier to get accustomed to, lamborghini's take a bit more time.
haha
I think the time thing is quite a funny argument. If a game series is being worked on for 5 years, and one game is being worked on for 5 years. Shouldn't the series be just as evolved as the one game?
Of course many will say no, more time to optimize that one game. But think about it, with the series there is still the same amount of time to rework the engine and polish the next game, making it better.
On another note, Forza has 3 games release for the...
How can it have higher market share?
Because your not reading the article, or even looking at the charts.
They aren't starting from 2005 data when the Xbox was launched, therefore its total market share is not represented. They are only talking about numbers from 2007 and on.
Read.
Just because the games are not to your liking, or you are not familiar with them does not negate the fact that this MONTH, 2 updates, will be the biggest yet, money wise.
Who promised you something Good? just wondering, cause I don't think it was Sony.
Review scores aren't everything. GT5 is being reviewed harshly because it was hyped up by alot of people.
Shift 2 won't receive that same hype, therefore should be graded more loosely. Also it appears some reviewers just don't like simulators. Look what they all gave The Fight, and simulator, half of them probably didn't even know.
Even if not sold, and Shipped, which is essentially sold to retailers, the demand is high, so if the actual sold number isn't 4.1 million today, it will be very shortly.
You are clearly either trolling or doing some other method of Sony Bashing that I am not familiar with.
The answer to you question, just in case you are serious, is I am enjoying my Move.
When you have 8 to 16 cars with that level of detail on the screen at once and also are processing the physics engine it is quite difficult for the PS3 it seems at this time to push that out. Of course that level of detail could be achieved some day with more optimization.
But Kaz even said himself some cars are PS4 quality. Meaning they are so detailed that you can't appreciate the true detail in game. But you can in Photo mode because the true detail gets to shine.
I think if were going to use that logic, we should say that the Forza series, which has been in development over the span of what? 5 to 7 years maybe, not sure when development started on the first game.
So that series should be as good if not better than GT5. I'm basically arguing that both companies built an engine around the same time. Is it? I would argue that the GT5 engine is pushing a lot more out than the Forza engine can do.
Unfortunately the ...
You my friend, are just clueless on how technology works. That is all I have to say to you, because you probably wouldn't comprehend other words.
Hey I major in Marketing as well, with a double major in MIS.
But for Move to sell the 4 million units it has sold so far with significantly less TV hits, or in other words, commercial time spots than Kinect, is a strength for Sony.
It shows that their fan base is large and aware of what is going on. It also shows brand loyalty and strong word of mouth, which some will argue is the best means for marketing.
So if Sony did advertise as much a...
