Well, they do, so why disagree other than the fact that you are off topic haha.
Income is not the only indicator or a company doing well. Companies can have massive profits and still be on the way to dying out. They might not die this year or next, or even in the next ten, but their actions and operations could lead to them suffering losses in future years.
It makes perfect sense when you look at monthly sales data for the WHOLE year. Yes 360 outsold PS3 for a few months, but the first few months of the year the PS3 was selling very very well. Well enough to negate the fact that 360 sold more during the summer.
@ Jahcure
I haven't played it, and never claimed to. I simply watched E3 as well as demonstration videos that showed how the game worked.
So not only do I say so, but so do Microsoft and the Dance Central devs.
ahh, last I checked selling?
Now the question is where is my Move. Ordered it from Amazon and its supposed to be arriving today by USPS.
The objective of the game is to follow the movements of the person on screen. The person on screen is NOT following your movements. That is how it works.
Your correct Alpha
This game tracks how close you are to the movements of the character on screen. Your actions are not what the character is doing. Also the game doesn't look for your whole body to be doing the exact movement, only parts, like arms and legs.
Don't let this video confuse you on how Kinect works. Your actions are not displayed on screen. Unless its the freestyle thing, or they put that box up I've seen in some demo's wher...
Its a beta, they are play testing different options. If you read raztad's post above you'll see they already did an update to change the way it plays.
And I can't wait till I get home today, try out the new settings.
Europe is bigger than UK as far as sales.
So it should be USA, EU, and JAPAN you look at. And PS3 is currently leading two of those, EU and Japan.
@Thrust
I know what you were saying Thrust, I was just informing you so you know for the future haha.
Really? Your not going to buy it because 4 days of sales data on a product that is releasing along side a Mario game in Japan isn't good? Even if Japan only sells 2.5 million Moves in the next few years it will be a success for Sony and they should support it. Remember they only have a little over 5 millions PS3's sold there.
Don't worry about sales so much man, just buy it if you want it and play the games.
I like how he says you don't need the manual. Of course not, just start tilting the sensor and see what happens when it breaks, cause they didn't read the manual to see it tilts itself.
And he does love that box lol, he's selling the shit out of Kinect. A lot of cables as well, but manageable.
I'll have to give it a try when my bro picks it up.
Your wrong anyway braniac, its not 14 million units to begin with. More like half of that considering there is more than one camera in Kinect and the article is referring to cameras sold, not Kinect units.
And I assume your saying its sold because you've been hearing its sold out right? Did you consider that Amazon for the US is not the world? What about in Japan? or Europe? What about local gamestops around the whole world? Are they all sold out of preorders? Hard ...
Sir, you need to learn basic math. 14 million divided by 3 is not 466,666. with a repeating 6 decimal.
It would be 4.6 million units. And yes, that would be a reasonable number of shipped units. But from what I see in other comments it would be 7 million units if there is only 2 cameras in each Kinect. Again, a very reasonable number to believe.
How do you say... ahhh... durr?
Of course, it was a big profile release and the last game of a series.
I like the comment above haha, water is wet haha, wouldn't be surprised to see that on here next.
Or another look would be they have their ps3's, since the article seems to be mainly focused on PS3 hardware sales.
That doesn't necessarily mean they haven't bought move.
And the decrease is odd as you would expect both move and hardware sales to go up. But as a marketing student I know there are more explanations for things like this than what seems obvious.
A lot of good quality games coming out soon.
@ Max
Your talking about lag, not 1:1 motion tracking. They are different
I see what your saying and agree, but hopefully those rewards wont overlap. That way Plus members still get their exclusive content, but they can also get extra content from just playing games and etc.
That sounds pretty cool actually. I'm glad theres no fee to.
So true.
