I agree, aspects like community, customization (visually), etc, doesn't necessarily make a better simulator. When it comes down to it a driving simulator is about cars, cars, and cars.

Def agree, just got that yesterday and played till I was sore. The games tracking is mind blowing. It is very accurate, even in extremely bad lighting conditions (dark).
I've only had one or two hiccups when playing, but once you start training and improving your stats it gets even better.

Whats funny is those the reviewers which gave the Fights Lights Out such a low score for being lazy are actually playing these Kinect games? I doubt it, unless there are just biased reviewers out there, because "real people" are giving The Fight much higher scores.

Developers say they are maxing out a console and then provide a sub HD game. But in this industry there is a double standard, for some series 720p isn't enough for gamers, for others its plenty. And for those same gamers that have a problem with 720p probably play sub HD games and love...
I suppose I can agree when it comes to resolution, fps, all that stuff, PC can do it better. But you should realize that PS3 games are looking amazing, especially the exclusives like God of War and Uncharted series as well as the Killzone series. See this is why I don't prefer Lens of Truth. Digital Foundary did there analysis and said that the performance overall, frames per second, was better on PS3. How did these guys come up with something different? As well as with the graphical comparison, which it seems Digital Foundary nailed as well.

Okay, I bought Move for its "exclusive" software. You know they do make Move only games right? I got Sports Champions and The Fight Lights Out, and I plan on getting Sorcery when that releases.

Hey, I love playing me some games. I mainly play PS3, and I really enjoy the exclusives, but I also enjoy some multiplats as well.

I preorder games very very close to release date. Sometimes just 3 days before release. I just do it for preorder bonuses. Free content, etc... Also if the game is in high demand, doesn't hurt to ensure my copy.

But honestly it has to do with the type of advertising. For example, in a racing game people want product placement. They want to drive the real cars, and this gives car companies the opportunity to get their names out there to prospective buyers. So for them it pays off.

Thats what I'm talking about. Play what your into. Just like you said, you want to have fun playing your games. So do I personally, but as we all know people have different definitions of what is fun. I play GT5 frequently, I think its fun. So just because GT5 is a simulation does not mean it is not a fun game.
