Not really catching up, they both have had the service for some time, full retail games online.
Sony actually offered new games like Socom Confrontation day one on PSN. It took a while for games on demand to have any worthwhile mentions and still does not offer same day retail and online offerings like PSN.
So who is playing catchup if anyone is?
That is amazing, that enough Nvidia Geforce GPU's alone were shipped to give one to almost 1/7th of the world.
But don't those profession get paid by the government to offer the free service?
If developers software is free, they should be paid by the government or some other entity, since they are entitled to compensation for their work.

It would be nice if you like these kinds of things, but I am willing to bet its close to this stat anyways if not higher because of the increased number of users from PS3's and PSP's and the fact that PSN is free.
Even if people are not playing games, they might be signed into PSN, just like Live. So I'd expect a big number.

Gamertag on Xbox for my brother, who has Kinect right next to my PSeye on top of our tv, DUTCHCRACKA. Look it up. I played the games on his Tag with him, Dance Central and Kinect Adventures.
Our friend Greg, his tag is on my bro's friends list and I'm not going to give it out since its not mine. But he has Kinectimals, Kinect Sports, Fighters Uncaged, Kinect Adventures and Sonic Freeriders.

Clearly everyones situation is not the same, I was just commenting on the vast majority of what I'm seeing, which is that game is a one time play to the majority of my friends and family that have the game.

Its all about personal preference.
To you Move may be a waste, but to others it might not be.
To me its not, I have Sports Champions, Heavy Rain, The Fight, and RE5 that support Move at the moment. I love SC and TF, both awesome games that are fun and extremely accurate at the same time. Something that bothered me with the Wii was the inaccuracy in a lot of games.

Dance Central does look like the game to get for Kinect. I know a few people with that game and they love it. The other games like Kinect Adventures and Kinect Sports, etc.. were like one time plays. Fun, just not fun enough to return like Dance Central.

I agree, those screenshots are nice. But as far as consoles, I haven't seen any game that tops GT5 when it comes to realism yet. I had no idea it was that close until I watched a few comparison vids between the real tracks and the in game tracks.
Maybe GT5 is not a system seller, but think about it. Kinect is the top selling accessory in December, and PS3 numbers are close to Xbox numbers.
I would expect quite a lot of new Xbox's sold for Kinect, so for PS3 to sell over a million, something must have been a system seller right? Maybe it was GT5, which sold alright in NA in December?
