I agree it is a one and done procedure, but it certainly takes longer than a minute.
My brother had to do it twice due to complications with space, and it took him well over 5 minutes.
Just stepping into each one of those squares and posing alone takes about 4 to 5 minutes in a tight living space.
Move is just point, click, done with most FPS's. With The Fight, (longest calibration I've seen), arms out, click, arms in, click. And a...
Well, to be fair, at least I don't have to rearrange my living room to play.
Also when you first hook up move, it's ready to play.
With Kinect you have to do the calibration, which can be a hassle depending on your living space.
Granted, Move has to calibrate every game, but it is a much quicker calibration.
Always a possibility.
Exactly, not to mention MS purchasing part of Nvidia doesn't mean MS Game Studio's is purchasing it.
Large corporations like MS and Sony, with wide portfolio's of services and products have different departments.
There is nothing to say that this money is coming out of MS's game department.
The reason for less 1st party studio's comes down to purchasing so much timed DLC and other timed aspects. Not to mention it takes TI...
I might depending on how this MS conference goes.
But I'll also be checking out the PS Blog as well.
Smart move by MS, they know Nvidia is making moves in the industry. I always admired Nvidia's innovation, much like Intel's.
I don't know about a single core,
But I do know the i7 2600k series processor is a beast of a CPU, easily overclockable to 4.5Ghz. I've seen some stay stable at 5Ghz and 5.2Ghz. Best part, on AIR COOLING.
But imagine that with a mini radiator for water cooling, like a Corsair H70 or H50 (Smaller version).
@Persistantthug,
lol, I actually went to some nice schools. But I suppose I didn't think that all the way through. However in some of my college classes our grades were split, starting at different points. In some a 50 would be a D, in others a 90 would be a B, making only 95 and above an A.
Either way, a 5 out of 10 to mean means the game works. Anything below is borderline unplayable or just horrid.
Here's a funny one for you, W...
Hey, I like your thinking. Makes sense to me.
I still think there will be those Developers who want to push the limit, and go for the higher resolution even if a small sub section of gamers have a TV capable of displaying it. (That of course is assuming TV sets will be sold that support higher resolutions during that time).
But the majority will take advantage of that extra processing power in the ways you've mentioned. Maybe even greater Physics engin...
Agreed, I have the DVR recording all the coverage from G4. I'll also more than likely be watching Live Feeds and checking out Live Blogs.
I love this time of year.
Hey, nothing wrong with wanting that game.
I thought the idea sounded interesting when GT5 developer, Yamauchi, mentioned he wanted such a feature in GT5, sort of a C-Spec mode where you can drive the cars around in an open environment, on normal streets.
I think people, like myself, are going to disagree with you because you brought Gran Turismo into this for no reason.
On topic though, I feel like there has been a small rush of Kinect vide...
I agree with you, but I tend not to step back and look at the scale as a whole sometimes.
I believe a 5, passing to me, means the game does what it is supposed to do, it works. Anything above is icing on the cake. A good example is Socom 4, currently has a 67 Meta, but it is a GOOD solid game.
Usually I'll have a problem with a low review score if it is unwarranted, or just nit picking.
The main problem with review scores comes when a m...
Haha, right, assuming we all feel the same way about those games as the author.
I guess I was wrong when I thought Killzone 3 was good, or when I played the Socom 4 Beta and liked it a lot.
Plus Infamous 2 isn't out yet, but the Beta was good IMO.
Killzone 2 had over a million preorders, so that number isn't unheard of.

Just Europe.
EDIT: Took out troll comment, I misread your comment initially. Also for the link, it is bad, but try this.

While those games are all shaping up to be great, they just do not have the same following as a game like Gears of War.
Gears of War started this generation off as a pretty good title, that's what made people come back for more.
Much like the Gran Turismo or Halo series in previous generations.
But games like Uncharted, while great, just have not attracted the same level of sales as Gears.
EDIT: To those saying it would ...
Awesome for Epic Games.
I can't tell you how I felt the first time I saw the original Gears of War tech demo/demo. That gameplay and footage had me so hype for this generation.
I think this is Sony's standard, and Konami is just one of the first devs to go public about using the feature.
It seemed clear that Sony wanted cross platform play ever since the cloud save service was introduced. Talk of playing games on the NGP/Vita and then on PS3 or vis versa was already hinted at with the Wipeout 2048 announcement notes.
Also as dramscus pointed out, it is only between Sony devices at the time, lending further evidence to the rumor...
hmmm... Not seeing mine in their
EDIT: Also fake because all PSN passwords must contain at least 8 characters, nice try.
The reason I disagree with your comment is your doing exactly what Max_Dissatisfaction is doing. Acting as if only ONE is relevant, or a good game.
COD titles from IW have been relatively solid for the most part. So have Battlefield games from Dice. But it all comes down to personal preference. Why do you need to say COD gamers are "KIDS"?
I'm an adult, 21 years old, fresh out of Villanova University with a Bachelors. I enjoy games like KZ,...
The Future Soldier demo was more impressive showing of what Kinect can do. All Mass Effect 3 showed was what "Headsets" can do.
Ever hear of Endwar?
Have to say it looked interesting, but certainly doesn't require Kinect by any means to achieve those same results.
