You're kidding, right? I saw at least two of them hit the top 3 headlines on N4G back in the holidays.

"Where were all the [insert this article's argument about a different console/game] articles" has becomes just a stereotype troll. Come up with something new. Whenever you say that, those articles you're asking about were almost always here.

Also, it says "NPD" right in the title. Which means North American sales.

"Can anyone think of a game (motion specific) that would require four people to use a dual controller setup?"

A kart racer that steers with the joystick and aims and fires weapons with the wand.

An arcade-style brawler (think double dragon or castle crashers or ninja turtles in 3D) that uses the joystick to move your character and the wand to swing your weapon.

A doubles tennis game without WiiSports-esque auto move.

A spli...

Is the sub controller included in the $100 package? The articles I've seen that discuss it so far seem to imply that it doesn't. Maybe it's not even decided yet.

Not watching this video on the grounds that "bias" is not an adjective. I'm biased against people using that word wrong.

People who can't use the word correctly certainly shouldn't be throwing it around in silly accusations.

"gow3, uncharted 2, killzone 2..."

As I read your list I thought you were intentionally listing all sequels and were starting to make an interesting point. Then I got to the end and found more conspiracy theory dribble. Disappointing.

Definitely a feature.

"Severely different" is subjective, and from what I've seen from every source that's not posted in an ALL CAPS COMMENT ON N4G, the differences are really not that severe. I think it's clear that this is not "the exact same thing" as Bayonetta.

Though like I said, the length of this game also plays into it. For lots of these sites it is not reasonable devote another 60 hours reviewing the same game with slightly worse graphics and multiple discs.

You say "every other game" gets separate reviews, but can you name another recent one other than Bayonetta which was an exceptional case? I can't think of any. Hardly any sites reviewed MW2 separately for the three platforms, for example.

Especially with this game, a site would have to dedicate an additional 60 man hours to review FFXIII twice. Even the largest sites like IGN have a fairly small review staff, and frankly I doubt they see that type of time commitment as ...

Notice that it says the PS3 version was the version reviewed? In the first line of the article? Maybe at least pretend you've read articles before making stupid accusations?

So are you saying that something like sound should be weighted evenly with something like gameplay in an average? Clearly something like gameplay or lasting appeal is far more important than sound or even (arguably) graphics or presentation. That is why IGN's scores aren't an average, and why they tend to lean more heavily towards gameplay and lasting appeal scores.

Edit: Grr, with post 1 deleted I guess it's impossible to reply to it.

Oops double post.

To those of you who feel like the Xbox 360 version dragged down this score, take a look at the breakdown of the review.

Graphics and Presentation got 10 and 9.5 respectively. Since the differences between the versions lie in these areas, you can see that IGNUK gave these top notch scores anyway. Gameplay and Lasting Appeal, however, both were scored 8. These aren't different between the consoles, and they are clearly the main basis for the kinda-low-but-respectable overall score....

The article doesn't even mention the glitch this week. And only mentions PS3 in one section. Read before commenting? :|

Edit @Saaking: The article is not about the PS3 losing its way. Maybe you haven't noticed, but you don't play games on a Sony. You play it on their product, the Playstation 3. The two are not synonymous.

Hell, this article isn't even posted in the PS3 section of N4G, it's in the tech section. Why are so many fanboys jumping to bash the writer of a...

Dear Darknikon and others,

At least watch the movie before blasting the man or the site in defense of Sony. Hell, even just read the paragraphs on here past the title. The video is NOT ABOUT SONY. It is about the direction the internet and video game industry are heading.

It's really a pretty interesting topic. Because so much of our gaming data is stored online and relies on a connection, something as minor as a calendar glitch caused the machine to cease many of it...

Wow, this machine's getting a lot of credit for "fixing itself." GMT just hit March 2, so now the PS3s all think it is March 1. Since this is a valid date, the error went away.

Don't celebrate that it fixed itself, celebrate that its internal clock is at least partially functional. :P

Well, 1-10 were announced yesterday so 11-20 were the only new information brought by this article. Makes sense to me to post those.

Although I dislike when people post the content of other sites on here which robs them of hits, so I did report it as spam. :p
