Gamepass was already amazing, but this month is really killing it! I love how they just drop random games in too. I just played Bloodroots for like 3 hours today, was never on my radar but I had a friggin blast with that one! So many games that I never would have tried have become some of my faves this gen. I also have a PS5, but I cant stop playing these amazing Gamepass games that keep on dropping in!

I agree 1000%! I am hoping they make some noise on GP and MS can bring out some new titles in these and other OG Xbox IP!

Sounds like you jealous cuz you dont know the MS rewards hustle. I have scored over 200,000 MS points in 2 years just doing basic quests, searches, GP quests etc. Sure, I was able to convert my XB Live that I paid for, but that conversion rate when they 1st launched GP was crazy and I got GP for 2.5 years for next to nothing. Then stacking all the points for extra months, it is free. And basic economics means the amount of games that I play that I dont have to buy (as they are on my GP sub) m...

Xbox and PC only? I could have sworn I saw this on a PS5 list somewhere. It's on sale on Xbox for $17. Looks pretty good I'll be downloading this one later. I was surprised it's not on Game Pass but I really want to check it out. It has a great old school Zelda vibe and just looks stunning!

Well, maybe not maybe so. I know that I am looking forward to it as the original was one of my faves of the OG Xbox generation! This one looks awesome and I am anxious to play it!

That what Im saying! The peeps who dont have both or havent tried both are always arguing which has better this and better that, blah freaking blah. Fact is that both systems are good and they both have games I want to play. I couldnt imagine not having both. The toxicity comes from people who cant afford both so I think its funny to see the peons fight it out to justify why they bought one over the other lol

yeah ok. People are always talking about how they die hundreds of times in those games. The boss life bar is just too damn big thats all. Get it halfway down and I just dont care to keep repeating the damn process for that long. I get bored and move on to a different game that is actually fun. Just tacking on a ginormous life bar so a boss fight takes forever is not fun.

Who cares, at least PS-only owners still get to play this Microsoft owned game. It still looks like a great game even if you have to play it BC thru PS5 to have it there. If you like it that much and want a superior version, buy an Xbox! PS4 version still looks pretty damn good! I guess this helps eliminate that narrative that MS just buys studios to keep games off other platforms. They could have easily cancelled the PS4 version, but they didnt. If you care about the game, you will get it wh...

Dude, its a friggin VIDEO GAME! If you are using GAMES to get your life lessons then maybe you should consider doing something else with your life? I dont care how much you practice, some of those bosses in Souls-Borne style games are just flat out annoying. Its not teaching anything.

Ok sure there is a pattern and you have to find the weakness, yadda yadda. But even then, it can take an hour or more to fight 1 damn boss. The only thing that is teaching me is that these de...

Lol thats not happening. Maybe spec wise and all of that, but who has the IP that keeps Nintendo where theyre at?! No one. I think it looks great, and hopefully Nintendo will up their game with the next iteration for Switch, but no way this takes Nintendos spot or even makes a dent in their profits.

I find it hilarious that on one day Psychonauts 2, a Microsoft product, gets LAMBASTED for adding a feature to make the game easier for anyone who just wants to experience the game, then those people disappear when its their fave company adding the same kind of thing to their game. I, for one, think its great they are adding this kind of accessibility to these games. There will almost always be the option to ramp up the difficulty in games, but there should always be an option to tone it down...

YES! You an skip them, as I am doing so in my 2nd playthrough. They are by far the worst parts of the game IMO.

I thought ratchet was way too short. New Game plus is cool, but it felt like as soon as I was really getting going I was just getting to the end. Ratchet could have easily been double the size at least especially for the $70. You guys are being brainwashed to pay more for less game. As good as ratchet was I still don't think it's worth $70 that's a good $40 game easily.

I'm from the era of 80 hour RPGs in the regular. I'm cool with short games too, but no, games should not be shorter just because one promising looking title is.

Ill always appreciate the value of 80-100 hours games. Many of those are designed to beat the main story in 20-30 hours and it is the side content that allows the player to draw that many hours out of it. Skyrim for example can be beat in 20 or so hours, but most who played it did so for 100 or more hours.

Graphics wise, yes it does look like a cash grab and they could've done more. But, they apparently made a ton of qol improvements and the controls are better based on the reviews I've read. Also, by not totally reworking the graphics, they can hopefully keep it at a stable 60fps

I'm only getting this cuz my 7 yr old is a Zelda nut and that's a habit I support! Also, I have $30 in Best Buy rewards I need to use before they expire, so Im paying the price it should have been at $30 out of pocket. I am interested to see how this plays without motion controls. Those were my biggest gripe with the wii version. It just felt broken at times. But I agree with others that Nintendo needs to do more with their ports. Hopefully the QoL improvements make up for the lack o...

Lol. Final Fantasy 7 made PlayStation viable. Until then it was the McDonalds of gaming whereas Nintendo had the home-cooked soul food. It may have taken a bit longer to prep and cook, but it was worth the wait and you didn't feel yucky afterwards. Final Fantasy 7 completely changed gaming and PlayStation forever. But N64 was great, you can't even compare Crash fucking Bandicrap to Mario 64! GTFO with that twisted history flamebait BS.

Sealed Mario 64 just sold for ...

Having personally used both extensively the Dual Sense is a great controller, but I still prefer the Xbox controller overall for the majority of games. It's just my preference I don't care about rumble it kind of annoys me in a lot of games. I loved it in Ratchet and Clank. If it's done right it can add some extra immersion to a game.

But overall placement of the sticks and the width of the controller just don't sit well with my hands. Form factor of the Xb...

You clearly dont understand what a gimmick is lol. PSVR IS a gimmick, 1000%.

1678d ago 1 agree14 disagreeView comment

I havent heard anybody trashing the DualSense, but in every sense of the word, it is a gimmick by definition (a trick or device intended to attract attention, publicity, or business). Sure it does add to the games that use it well, like Ratchet Rift Apart. But it can also be a nuisance in some games. And it does not bode well for the battery life of the controller, which I have learned from my experience with the controller.

So whats wrong if MS use the tech as well? Thats...
