It's all subjective. Personally, I love a nice long game. People seem to hate AC and Far Cry etc because of their length and the fact they have all these OPTIONAL side quests. I have about 30 hours in FC6 and over 120 in AC Valhalla, which I have been playing for over a year and a half now. I love them. Best bang for the buck. You can get thru the main story in like 20-30 hours, but I love all the extra content and usually do as much as I can and disregard the extra stuff I don't care...

Yes, but it looks this good now so I am totally fine with their strategy. The art style is so good and the PS4 was no slouch as it was. I am wondering how bad the frame rate and load times will be on the PS4 versions. It will probably be fine on the pro, but I imagine the base PS4 will struggle quite a bit. With the PS5 version you get all the bells and whistles like 4k 60fps, raytracing, super fast load times etc.

Yeah it was a shame Horizon got overlooked early on because it was a new IP vs such a beloved franchise with an incredible new iteration that had been so hotly anticipated. Once I was done with Zelda I immediately checked out Horizon for the 1st time and was blown away! I thought HZD was actually better than BotW in many important ways. They just got so much right in HZD its incredible for a new IP to have that much of an impact. They absolutely nailed it!
Holy hell, Imagine what they will be able to do in a few years when all games are "next gen only!" I am ok with them releasing on PS4 as well. With such a huge install base it only makes sense to wring as much $$$ out of the games as possible. Cmon folks, there are many other reasons console players should be able to opt out of playing against PC players online. Its not just about cheating. I think PC players have an unfair advantage in games like Halo. Theres usually less input lag on PC and clearly a mouse and keyboard gives PC players a significant advantage when it comes to aim speed.

What's really awesome is how they added the cloud streaming to most of the new games coming out. And since the streaming runs entirely off Series X consoles now, it's super quick to check out these new games. If it's worth my time, I'll download it for the best experience.

Yeah exactly! I love having the option to just get completely sucked into the world. They have created these amazing worlds and I get constant enjoyment from seeing some of the stuff they went to great lengths to create. It's just amazing to me that they put so much detail in so many aspects of the AC games in particular. And then there are the expansions, which I thought were great as well. I'm currently working through the Siege of Paris DLC now and I love all of it!
