Well, they've gone multiplat so the third game may not be as revolutionary as we want it to be in terms of graphics. I'd want it to be a PC exclusive honestly, and I could happily upgrade my gaming rig if they provide a giant leap just as they did with HL2 in the graphics department.
Anyone but you, obviously.
It's going to be a good action game for sure but is it a good Max Payne game? That I'm not sure about.
I'm George Clony, the head of the Clony company and I approve this game.
So that means we're going to see Old Snake in action again if this advert is a foreshadowing of the game? Oh man that's not good, you should leave the poor guy alone. He's too old for a brawl, let him enjoy his retirement.
Instead, that would make more sense to see Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid 1 as an iconic Playstation hero. After all, Playstation 1 is the platform on which Metal Gear saga is introduced to most of the gamers out there today.
Oh come on, that was a cheap argument. You know what I meant, I was implying my taste when it comes to "fighting" games. Braid is a platforming game, it's a totally different genre.
When it comes to fighting games I choose Mortal Kombat, Primal Rage (Arcade), Killer Instinct (NES), Bushido Blade (PS1), Def Jam: Fight for NY (PS2) and alike with a more serious tone over the cartoonish ones.
That's fine as long as they keep the good games coming.
Dear Sony, Heavenly Sword 2 please. Thank you.
They're at least trying, I'll give them that but thanks, I'll just keep sticking to Mortal Kombat. I couldn't be any less hyped than that for a game. Too colorful for my taste. Kids gonna love it, though.
Yeah I bet they will. Like just standing there and taking a moment to watch the sight of Ezio slaying the other swordsmen in your team one by one untill it's your turn to duel. I don't know about the most advanced AI but they indeed have the most advanced sense of honor in video games.
Are you guys serious? Crysis WILL have advanced graphics options. Furthermore, when you open the autoexec.cfg file with notepad, you'll enter the world of even more tweaking. Crysis has always been like that, no need for pointless speculation.
I can send you my Crysis 2 cfg file and your mind would melt seeing how many parameters there is to adjust the graphics for your own preferences. It's as configurable as it can get so assuming that it would have limited graphic...
What's in it anyway? Thousands of animation files, I hope?
It's already confirmed to be a prequel. Even the artworks say "Before he was a god, he was a man." for Christ's sake, is there the slightest possibility that it could be a posterior story after seeing that?
I'm not trying to 'bother' Sony nor I do care. I'm just a dissatisfied customer, and I'm not on a holy revenge mission. Vita is a powerful device but buying it on launch was a mistake, should have waited for the library to grow powerful.
And yes it's a customer down for Sony. Technically they get no money for the device from the secondhand owner.
Agree or not, I gave you my reason. Announcing a GOW title for PS3 which already has great...
Well too bad if it's a Vita title regarding GOW. I've sold my Vita yesterday after the announcement of GOW: Ascension for Playstation 3.
My Vita has been collecting dust after its first week in which I beat Uncharted Golden Abbys. And then some information is leaked on a new GOW game. Poor Vita owners think "Hey it's the huge AAA title we've been waiting for!" and nope, it's revealed that the game will be available exclusively on PS3. What a huge...
I thought it would be for Vita. Oh well, that's why we have ebay.
Wow, looks beautiful. I mean the lensflare effect looks gorgeous, reminds me of Mass Effect 3. It's always great to see new features being implemented to old games by skillfull modders. The model, though, I don't give a sh#t about. I'll still be using the old Alyx model when the mod is released.
Oh really? I'll tell you what, Alan Wake is one of my favorite games of this generation. But when it comes to the technical details, the PC version of the game requires a pathetically low PC spec: it runs in DX9 mode regardless of your graphics card and it can even be installed on an XP operating system.
Yeah, you read it right: you can run it on an ancient Windoows XP. :)
If you have a five year old laptop, you'll be able to run it smoothly. And who ...
Oh yeah? And on which platform would you play MGS, Heavy Rain, Uncharted and many other industry changing games? Don't come back to me with the worthless "then those would be released on xbox/nintendo" argument, if there's no competition you don't get jack sh#t in the corporate world.
Wait for Black Mesa which is a non commercial remake of the first game with Source Engine 2 and start with that. I'd say start with HL1 but you could probably not stand the graphics as it's quite a dated game. They're going to release BM some day, hopefully.
