It's already confirmed by Gamespot that the character they keep calling to as "Snake" in the demo was indeed Big Boss, as he wore the iconic eyepatch. I noticed the MSF logo as well, which definetely tells us that the game will take place somwhere after Peace Walker, taking us to the past again. Nothing wrong with that I guess, as I'd never like a game that takes place AFTER the MGS4, that game tied the loose ends so good that there's no reason to mess the story up. Yeah...
It's a great day for MGS fans for sure, but I really wonder why the title does not include the number 5. It's going to be a big-scale game, definetely on par with MGS4 in terms of content and development level, but why not just call it MGS5? That would sound better I think, would indicate that it's a direct sequel to the MGS saga. MGS: Ground Zeroes sound like a spin-off rather than a part of the cannon, but it's actually a huge game.

I can actually understand the confusion. Console gamers see a game running on a high-end PC, and it impresses the hell out of them. Not knowing it's actually running on PC, they just go out and start shouting "brace yourselves, the next-gen is coming!"

Yeah that's great, and what kind of a beastly hardware will be able to pull this off? Even a double GTX 690 would not be able to render 4K resolution games at a stable framerate. Let's be reasonable for a second, folks. Most of you are not even willing to pay more than 500 bucks for the console, so I'd say good luck with that.
Hope they can find a way to get around that crazy distortion effect which kills it for me, and video game graphics will no more need evolving.

It's not. If you guys haven't noticed yet, Nintendo never make next-gen consoles, they just catch up to the other two.
Where are the big explosions, helicopters falling, trucks hitting each other, creating massive blasts, buildings going boom! This game just needs some fireworks, instead it looks like a solo-sneaking mission, or like a multiplayer game room rather than a sparkling warzone. I guess that's why Vita owners didn't like what they saw much, as it doesn't look like the COD we know.
Enough with the "new proof" articles, instead we need a TROLL-PROOF gaming community.
The art style and the overall design is so professional in this game that it can put many of the so called AAA titles out there to shame, and it definetely don't deserve the 7 score they gave for graphics/presentation.
