Offscreen videos tend to look better than a game's original look, so it's kind of difficult to comment.
Wait, which company you say? The one that created one of the -if not THE- best game of the last generation, titled The Last of Us? I would guess so...
Agreed, never understood why he was such a big deal. It was your generic Joker copycat. An entertaining character, sure. But not as original as some people make him out to be.
And this one reminds me of the character played by Javier Bardem in Skyfall. Not so original again, but definitely more refreshing than Vaas.
Infamous Second Son?
KNWS,
Just take a look at what you say, man. You're saying that higher resolution is only good for draw distance, and yet you overlook the fact that Watch Dogs is an open-world game and the draw distance is one of the most (if not the most) important aspect of its genre. Resolution does matter even more when it comes to open world games, because we'd like to see what lies ahead down at the end of the streets rather than a blurry or pixelated mess of an image convenien...
A younger master chief maybe? I'm not too deep into the universe of Halo to know if Chief ever had a different suit in his lifetime.
I'm sure I've seen this picture before, maybe in Game Informer reveal.
Here's a rough translation of the related part from the original article as far as I could understand with my German from high school:
"Ubisofts speaks highly of Playstation 4's 1080p with 60 fps, and in fact showed the game at those settings with no frame-rate dips. In any case, we think 30 frames per second with higher rendering quality would be a better option, and perhaps Ubisoft could do that but then they would have to make too many compromises for the Xbox...
I wouldn't keep my fingers crossed, anyone with a basic knowledge of Word could come up with such a table, print it and take a picture to make it look authentic.
I was talking about this to one of my friends, and as a radical person who keeps expectations at the lowest level not to be disappointed, I decidedly said that if they had to add an option to lock Infamous: Second Son at 30 frames per second, there was no way that this game could run at 1080p/60 FPS, which looks almost on par with Infamous: Second Son graphically -not exactly but definitely close, and Infamous is an exclusive title, WD should be proud to be even compared- and he just said tha...
As normally expected? I mean, if it was not going to show up at E3, I'd seriously be doubtful about that game.
Bad optimization can be horrifying indeed.
Not that I didn't lose my interest in the modern warfare setting, but taking it past would make it somewhat... boring? I can't think of a Call of Duty game without the trademark setpieces, and I doubt WW1 setting would allow such scenes. I wonder if it can be done though, maybe with some skilled writing and level design.
Whether it is worth the price tag or not is subjective but if you actually look at the luxury stores near you, you might find quality products with similar prices, so depending on the material and craftsmanship it might actually be worth it.
That's how next Elder Scrolls game should look like.
Cloud provides rain, while console hardware itself provide the power necessary to run the games. That's all I know and believe.
I kind of thought next-gen specs were a bit let down but gotta give credit where it's due, 8 gigs of unified DDR5 RAM was a smart thinking. Glad they didn't go cheaper.
Now that Sony announced their free-to-play massive multiplayer survivor with the same theme, titled H1Z1, they're sure as hell in for a tough competition.
A dramatic difference or not, if that's going to make an already excellent game better, that's a welcome change for me.
Lawson72,
That's because you don't see jaggies, and the game looks heavily anti-aliased, thus the overall picture quality improves. But in fact that's just some blur effect caused by your camera's lens (and focusing) that makes it look smoother. You can't pick up individual details, and that's for the benefit of the game if those details that you can't see look pretty bad in-game.
I see where you're getting at, and they usually...
