GTX 480/ HD 6970 recommended... for the flash version of the game.
The actual requirements will be revealed by Rockstar themselves.
Are you sure that is Hayter's voice? I highly doubt it. The website that contains the audio files is basically an online voice recorder, with a "record now" button up top. Not the best place to distribute such files in terms of credibility, I'd say.
Don't pre-order it. Please don't. It won't play any good, just like it didn't with Gears of War. You know, the multi-million selling video game series with a fanbase larger than King Kong's belly. There's no chance for this game to be successful and you know it.
So let me be the only person on planet to enjoy the best visuals ever created in any video game so far.
I double dare you.
Watch_Dogs downgrade was indeed a catastrophe, but I have to give credit where it's due, Assassin's Creed Unity looks just as good or even better on PC/Ultra. It's in fact one game that they didn't downgrade, nor used bullshots. Just as good as it's shown. And that's probably the reason behind its god awful performance on next-gen consoles. Unlike what they did with Watch_Dogs they didn't cut the visuals down -which I actually expected from them since they released...
I'm sorry but it fits perfectly to the definition of vaporware: you don't go on official record saying that you cancelled it, beat around the bush when you're asked about it, release no new info whatsoever untill people forget it even existed. It's supposed to be in development since 2007. It's been eight years since. Eight years. And people still speculate the game will see the light of the day some time in the future. I'm sorry but at this point, that's just wish...
Souds more like vaporware to me.
I can bet that's not the case here.
The gameplay video looks great, but there was nothing that I could see of which screamed CGI in terms of graphics, so no one would ever think about shouting "it was CGI" after the show anyway. Besides, the gameplay section here (understandably) has a lower LOD than the initial reveal trailer (with LOD getting enhanced dramatically in close-up cutscenes, which looked just as good as the first trailer in terms of character deta...
Of course it won't. These guys do deliver.
Seriously? :/
I mean, did the game start to run better and required less hardware power all of a sudden after the fuss on gaming websites? If the game COULD run on the harware specified in the article above, what the hell were the earlier extravagant system requirements all about?
That just makes no sense. System requirements these days don't make any sense at all.
I'm sorry but... that was just cheap. Creating speculation for the sake of speculation insults the gamers' intelligence.
You don't have to be a genious to read the title as NOGAME but it could imply anything, most popular guess was that it could be a VR title. Then you realize that it's just an ad campaign for the 20th anniversary console which was already revealed days ago, and you know for sure that companies are starting to troll you all the way just to ge...
I'm getting used to annual releases of AC games but holy hell man, do they really have to announce it this soon? Unity's just out, and I haven't even finished the game yet. Then comes a new AC game announcement/leak. They might as well announce the next game on the back cover of their AC game boxes from now on.
The dissatisfaction of AC Unity customers regarding the game's technical problems didn't even cool down yet. If it's Ubisoft's way of sayin...
On the next news: "Kojima unlocks the suite room, drinks soda and watches American Cable TV while waiting for VGAs."
Honestly I don't think this is a big punch on the side of Sony, yet it's a nice answer to XBO's Killer Instinct. Every console needs a good fighting game, which PS4 kind of lacked so far (with the exception of Guilty Gear Xrd but it's just not as popular).
So basically they implemented something similar to nVidia's DSR into their drivers. Smart move, as 4K gaming is the new trend.
It has nothing to do with taking a stab at Xbox One fans. It's most likely a VR project, hence the name "no game". It's my guess that the project will be a blend of game and virtual reality, probably the flagship title for Project Morpheus. The simplistic HUD already suggests that it's not a hardcore Playstation 4 exclusive that's supposed to be played on TV. But what do I know, it's just my two cents.
Here's hoping that they get their effort's worth sooner than later.
It's not possible to determine if frame rate dips are resolved through this patch by simply looking at still pictures, so pictures prove nothing. Your friend needs to capture some video footage with an fps counter on the screen for us to see if the patch is actually working.
I'm sorry but I have zero faith when I see some words flying around like the dredded "parity". It's the worst concept that's been introduced with this generation, every playform should be maxed out with their full potentials, designing games based on the lowest common denominator gimps the experience dramatically.
900p @ 60 fps confirmed.
I played the sh*t out of that game on PS3 already, I can wait.
