If there's going to be a story mode I want that to be bigger and longer this time around. Would be epic.
Same for me pal, you're not alone. I tried the game on my PC equipped with the same GPU you have- a 4GB Sapphire R 290 o/c and driving is virtually unplayable as it stutters like hell, and fps drops to 20s as you get faster. Some people were claiming that it was due to the amount of VRAM, well I can confirm you that it just isn't.
The latest AMD beta drivers and day zero patch did nothing at all. So what would I do, I bought the friggin game for PS4 today even though...
I really don't know why they didn't let the mission roll as it was shown if they indeed designed the interior of that club. I thought it was only there for the sight in the final version, and that it was not enterable. Very curious about the reason now.

Just reminding.
Nice one.
But some scenes look considerably better than the others, I just don't know why.
Dayuuuuum, son! Now that's what I call some next-gen driving game.
The next-gen is here, what are you still waiting for? Highest end GPUs with 4-5 tfolps of graphics processing power that can actually be bought at a reasonable price are on the market as well, we're just ready to get blown away one more time.
I have i5 2500 (not overclocked) as well, which scores around 6300 at Intel Passmark. And I have R9 290 (4GB), and 8 gigs of DDR3 ram.
And I don't get it, do I have to have a high-end i7 to run the game at ultra? According to Morin, I do. "You can play the game at medium or high settings with a mid-end cpu" he says, just like the one I have. And yet PS4's CPU is a rough equivalent of AMD FX-8120, which scores around 6500 at passmark, which is almost the same...
No way I'm gonna watch this. With spoilers coming right and left, this will be a though week.
"Microsoft doing something at E3 that's never been done before."
I don't know, maybe they'll show... games?
Hey I did it, I found what the problem was. And man, was that the weirdest thing I've ever encountered in the world of PC gaming!
Seems like Crytek's games don't like HDTVs. I have my rig hooked up to a 47" LED TV, and I found out that if you're using a HDTV with Crysis 2 or 3, the game seems to interestingly lock itself down to 24 fps. Don't know why nor did I understand the technical mumbo jumbo, but here's what I did to correct the issue:
Lol @badger.
You know that's not true, I have ladies around here who drive more carefully than men. Gotta admit we male drivers can get kinda reckless sometimes while drive, women on the other hand, tend to do that less.
Let the leaderboards speak, then.
I don't think Mario is racist, if anything he's just a big stereotype.
I applaud the developers' decision of adding female drivers to the game, not only male gamers play driving games. Big props to Evolution Studios.
I have an i5 2500k, not the best processor out there but I think it should get the job done? I'm not sure if jumping to i7 would make a great deal of difference. I also have 8 gigs of DDR3 RAM installed.
I always have the latest drivers installed. It's true that Nvidia has the upper hand when it comes to drivers, their "wonder driver" was a great success. But I prefer AMD cards as they give you the best bang for your buck.
Not to mention, I ...
Supporter,
Not that I don't believe, but how do you achieve that? I've got my new R9 290 recently, tried both Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 at max settings and couldn't hit steady 60 fps. I wonder if something's wrong with my system now that you say you're able to do that with a GTX 680, gonna re-install and try again with RadeonPro.
Imalwaysright,
Unfortunately this time you're wrong. They do make great looking games, but they're not the best of coders out there. I've yet to see a single chip GPU without going SLI running Crysis 3 or 2 at the max settings at a reasonable frame rate. That's the dictionary meaning of "unoptimized" for you. They throw in some effects which eats up resources hungrily at max settings just to claim that their games are future-proof. That's why yo...
What reviews? Unless you mean previews which are based on previous builds and thus could not help you form a final opinion, there was only one review from a no name website, the validity of which is questionable as claimed by Ubisoft. Have I missed something?
If they're going to remaster the graphics with the engine of COD: Ghosts, I might get a copy of this collection. It might look like an annual cash grab but I do like the rollercaoster campaign in those games.
I don't know about the MP though, I'm a SP-only kind of gamer.
That's the only game that makes me wish I had an Xbox One, and it looks phenomenal. Remedy is one company that I'll always respect, they're great at making cinematic, story-driven video game experiences.
