Future,
I have a R9 290 4 GB and I can barely play Watch_Dogs at ultra 1080p, what 4K are you talking about? Do you have any idea how demanding next-gen games like Witcher 3 will be on PC? As long as you don't have a GTX Titan Black SLI which would turn your PC case into a thermonuclear power plant that costs you triple the electricity bill, you can forget about 4K or play Rayman Origins at glorious 4K resolution with a moderate GPU and watch 4K bluray movies. That's ...
I don't see why anyone would want to play the game as a naked chick. Wouldn't prevent me from making some terrible jokes, though.
''Boobs are power. Every boob's connected.''
''Boobs are our weapon.''
Sure, let's compare pre-rendered cutscenes. The author either thought the cutscenes in TLOU was running real time or didn't give a flying F about making a useless comparison as long as it brings some clicks.
Strawberry,
Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes?
Oh for f*cks sake, why is 1080/60 fps suddenly a big deal? Such a big deal that they have been bragging about for like, news coming right and left for A WHOLE WEEK? Do I have to read an article per day about how "amazing TLOU 1080p 60 fps looks, how much of a difference will 1080p 60 fps make, how devs saying that 1080p 60fps looks glorious on TLOU are right"? And today comes this: devs sacrificed their LIVES to ACHIEVE 1080p 60 fps!
Mate, let's draw a red line ...
Watch Dogs gotta be better Sleeping Dogs than GTA V.
The friggin' game of the generation. That's all I have to say.
I think it'd be a double edged sword to say that it's going downhill. With every installment they develop the gameplay even further, but the story and narrative gets worse and worse (especially with the modern day connection losing its touch and relevance). So you're both right and wrong. But as for the storyline, you're absolutely correct. It has just become "follow the historical story till you discover an artifact near the end, and the game ends shortly after" kin...
You're totally right. From now on I'll totally take Ubisoft's press conferences as science fiction. Ubi lost my trust forever with Watch_Dogs. What's more disappointing is that they said the PC build would look even better than the E3 2012 presentation.
Wouldn't matter this moth or next month, it's an instant buy for me.
It's difficult to tell anything from those screens aside from the obvious similaries to the Alien. I'd love to see more at E3, though.
It's Mortal Kombax.
Characters with higher polygons which look CGI-like with better textures, higher environmental details, better shaders and post-proceesing effects, maybe? There are tons and tons of things that can be (and always will be) improved in a fighting game. With your logic we'd be stuck with Mortal Kombat 4's visuals after it made the 3D jump- and look how far we've come from that.
Edit: Sorry for the double post, see my comment below.
Well, if I were you I wouldn't hold my breath for those "amazing vistas". It's a cross-gen game and Drive Club will be around soon, which seems to be the most amazing looking driving game ever created (if not the most amazing looking game ever).
Looks pretty, just like every other Crytek game. I hope it plays good as well.
I don't know how it'll play, or I don't know how good the story will be. But if there's Crytek involved you know one thing for sure: it'll be a feast for the eyes.
So they originally wanted to put so much DOF effect that you wouldn't even be able to see what's two steps ahead of you? Okay...
The stuttering issue in the PC version has nothing to do with the VRAM. I have a R9 290 4GB and the issue remains. That's just piss-poor optimisation, and every other reason provided or claimed are merely excuses, so stop with those already and wait for a patch, or play the PS4 version just like I do if you don't want to wait -or- if you don't believe that there'll be a patch adressing the issue anyway.
There's nothing we can do about it as it's not a ...
I'm looking forward to rocks on mountains and tree leaves comparison, completed with a compherensive, side-by-side dirt on tracks analysis. We're geologists after all, not gamers.
